What would be the best way for us to get passes?

My husband has a convention May 13-17 at The Boardwalk. I am a Disney Club member and am wondering what our best option for buying tickets would be? We won't be arriving till late on the 13 so we don't need passes on this day. The same is true for the 17. He has a meeting till 12 and we are leaving at 2. He has meeting almost everyday till 4 or 5 but I am free. The things we want to do are as follows
1. spend a night at Pleasure Island
2. a day a Epcot
3. an evening on the Boardwalk
4. shopping at The Market Place
5. maybe a water park
Are the day passes the way we should go, length of stay or what?

The other things are we would like to have dinner at some different places but not spend an arm and a leg plus maybe not buying hopper passes we would be looking at food that is available in the resorts, Market place and West Side. Any advice is appreciated!;)

One thing you should do is to check on whether your husband can get convention passes. These are special passes that are not available to the general public -- some of them give you evening-only entrance to the parks for a reduced rate, others are shorter-than-normal (i.e. 2 day) Hopper passes, etc.

However, it looks like the only things you really want to do that involve admission are Pleasure Island, Epcot and possibly a water park. The total admission cost for those activities, purchased separately at full price, is just $102.62 per person, including tax. (In addition, there are various discounts available on Pleasure Island and the water parks -- I list a bunch on my web site --but a one-day admission to Epcot won't be discounted.) So, if you really don't plan to go into any of the other "major" theme parks, there's not much point in buying Hopper passes, and NO point in buying Ultimate Hoppers.

My site also has a whole page of fun free or inexpensive things to do at Walt Disney World that don't require any admission to the parks. You might want to check that out here: http://www.mousesavers.com/freestuff.html

Have fun planning!
