What Words Do You Find Hard To Spell?

I'm glad I'm not alone on the "definitely", I would spell it definately, and "apparently" is another tough one for me....but my wacky problem that I seem to encounter spelling is the word: exercise! I always want to put a "z" in it. Perhaps, it's because I don't do it, therefore I can't spell it!!! :confused3 Plus, I did go to school for a few years in England while I was a child, some words they spell differently than us (yes, I'm using that as an excuse)! Did I just spell differently right? That is a big problem with me....do I put an "e" in those type of words, or is it just "l" "y"........good grief......who thought of this thread anyhow?!?!?!

I've always been a good speller but one word ALWAYS gets me...

NIECE.

I always spell it neice.. what is WRONG with me and that word???

saphire, whenever I see your name, I always think you just spelled sapphire wrong. What does saphire stand for in your case because it does come up in google.

Back when I joined the DIS in 2000, Norweigan Cruise Line was having a contest to name a new ship. We had just taken a cruise, and I just loved the color of the water in the caribbean...sapphire blue. So, I entered the name in the contest. I didn't win, but loved the name, so dropped one 'p' and became Saphire here. :)

By the way, a few years later Princess Cruise Line came out with a new ship...the Princess Sapphire...they stole my idea!!! :rolleyes2

Caribbean used to get me all of the time until one time at WDW the kids and I were joking around with the name: Pirates of the Caribbean. You know how PILATES is pronounced? Well, we did that with Pirates (Pir - a - tees) of the Car - i - bi - be - an). So now, every time I have to spell Caribbean, which is a TON ( WDW TA), I always say it in my head "Pir-a-tees of the Car-i-bi-be-an" and put to B's in! :rotfl:

That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Now just watch the next time you are at WDW and head towards POTC, you'll read it as the above (I'm not typing that again). :wizard:
