What will you spend your free $150 on?

If you are one of the lucky ones that managed to bag the free $150 by staying at one of the hotels - What are you planning on spending it on?

DD has already earmarked MERCHANDISE for ours!!!!

I used Complete Orlando who gave the discount off the booking rather than giving a giftcard.
If we had have had the giftcard we would probably have used it for tips. Karen got a $75 giftcard for her Birthday a few years back, we struggled to use it, spent it over 2-3 trips, we rarely buy anything in Disney.

As it's Stephens 15th birthday while we are there, we said he could have it. The little tyke asked for the money instead so he can spend it at Florida Mall/Premium outlets.

As an extra point, can you use the gift card to pay for food in restaurants? We have the QSDP but would probably like to actually eat in a few restaurants and if we can use it then that is probably what it will be used for (Crystal Palace, Le Cellier etc)... he can pay for his lego with his own money

I gave mine to my DD as part of her Christmas present. She usually saves her own spending money so now she only has to make up the amount she wants to take with over the $150 mark - and it can't be spent before we get there

Looking on the VH website it says "$150 Disney Spending Money per booking to spend on snacks, souvenirs or whatever you like!"

We have $300 'free' after booking early last year - i'm sure it will be spent within the first few days on presents for our family

I had not thought about using it for tips.
However I suspect that the troops will probably get the lions share of it and Diane might buy one or two items.
Apart from CDs on our first trip I don't think I have bought any Disney merchandise on subsequent trips

We're on the QS plan and hoping to use for a meal in the SciFi Dine In and another table service somewhere else , not decided on that one yet.

One of the Epcot ones i reckon as we've never eaten at any of them.

Anyway, I would have put it towards beer (Food & Wine Festival) and tips

Not only that, but the free dining now also for the dates I didn't book because it wasn't available then.

I have been thinking about it and at the moment I'm not sure. I was thinking for the extras like starters and drinks when we go for dinner.
Or that extra round of mini golf as you only get a voucher for one person. Not sure yet.
But I'm sure once we are there it will get well spent. If DH had his way it would go on spices etc from the minnies pantry in DTD.
