What will you NOT miss about VMK?

With all of these "What Will You Miss" things going around, why don't we say what we dislike about VMK?

I will not miss the whining people who don't get their way.

I will not miss the idiots in POTC who say you are cheap when you win or use gold, or even shoot at them when they are stuck. My comeback is always, "You ran into the wall in the first place."

There are certainly things about VMK and those that play it that I will not miss.

However, I'm sure I will offend somebody by specifying what I won't miss, so I'll refrain.



What will you being doing May 22nd? I'll be going out to the movies and enjoying life with loved ones.

i will not miss the taken, and all the baby day care rooms and the little kids who pretend to be babys(p.s. on day i did pretend to be a baby and annoy ppl) i also won't miss the ppl on potc who think gold is cheap when u use it but when they use it its not cheap. btw i have not played potc since the big quest

There isn't a thing I won't miss. Over the past few years I've gotten a huge deal of entertainment from the most annoying people, including the PotC dictionary dancers and people who come up and insult guys about wearing princess hats for no good reason. They also make the game complete. You can't, just CAN'T, have a community without at least a few people that annoy you to death.

I will probably miss the annoying people terribly... I always annoy them back and that's made some of the most memorable moments on VMK.

nicely put GG and i agree.....there are always the elements of the ridiculous in any community virtual or real...to me it's what makes things interesting sometimes lol...and like you i'll be living life as usual after the 21st, as it should be....

just remember (speaking as a theater clean up crew person), when you DO go out to the movies, please deposit all trash in the nearest receptacle...thank you. LOL!!

I will not miss taken, snobbery, scamming, rudeness, playing house or any of the hateful people.

HOWEVER - I would gladly keep all of it if we could keep VMK. I know how to use my ignore and boot options. I can play pirates with whom I would like and hang with my friends to avoid the parts of VMK I do not like.

PPl that pretended to be animals or babies made me wanna pull my hair out but hey like Ive said for over 2 years, it was their game, they never hurt me.

Rob, the "taken" you are referring to and the "taken" that many of the kids get crazy about are not the same. What you and Sweet have is special and I do not think anybody would deny you that. The kind of "taken" that a lot of these kids do is crazy and their actions would not be approved by their parents.

Yes I agree. The kids get carried away with taken all for the wrong reasons. But there again you have exceptions again. Its all about choice I guess. And back when I argued this taken thing here on the board was when they organized "stamp out taken groups....ie lynch mobs". Thank God Mal put an end to that real quick. I see that some recognize the difference but most dont and lump us all in one group. Theres alot of things I dont like or disagree with but why hurt a certain group and start hard feelings?

Lag..I couldn't play much pirates in November because the lag was terrible.
Also, crashing or dc when I was pretty close to getting to a host's room was pretty annoying.
I wouldn't mind these at all if the games open.
