I just went shopping for my 2 yr old DD's stuff for her basket? At this age she really can't have too much in the way of candy? I did get some peeps and some little Hershey's chocolate bunnies which are peanut free. I also got her a peeps book, a Thomas the train Easter train and an DVD of "The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town". I also got the little plastic eggs because I think she might like those but I couldn't find anything to put in them that wouldn't be a choking hazard. I was just wondering what everyone else is doing for the little ones this age.

My boys are 3 and 4, and my dd is 10. For the boys I did coloring books and crayons. My dd is getting the movie Narnia. All three got Hershey Kisses, a chocolate bunny, eggs filled with jelly beans, some M&M's and some Peeps. And we gave them each their traditional golden egg with a five dollar bill. That's it! I don't believe in ridiculously huge Easter baskets that rival Christmas stockings.

We're giving DS, who is 21 mo, those Color Magic markers and finger paints, along with the special paper they have to have to make them work. Other than that, he's getting a couple of Matchbox cars, fridge magnets of the numbers 1-9 (he already has the alphabet and plays with them constantly), and a few small pieces of candy that will be inside his eggs (Starburst and chocolate-covered marshmallow bunnies). We don't do big Easter baskets, either. My mom didn't think Easter was a gift-giving holiday, so anything is a step up from the nothing I got when I was little!

My boys are 2 & 4 and I went out to get their basket stuff today. They're getting:
- Little John Deere tractors
- Star Wars Galactic Heroes figures
- Mini stampers for the Aquadoodle
- Dove mini chocolate bunnies
- Dove chocolate eggs

And, maybe a couple of other things. I just bought the stuff 2 hours ago, but that's all I remember. :sad2:

My DS2 is getting a Buzz Lightyear Nascar t-shirt, kite, race car toy, Power Rangers movie and Jeff Gordon chocolate car.

My DD6 is getting Disney Princess Nascar t-shirt, kite, Pep squad Girl (cheerleader polly pocket), Shark Boy and Lava Girl Movie, and a Jeff Gordon chocolate car too.

my twins just turned 2 and they and their 4 year old brother will get pretty much the same/similar baskets. coloring book, small hollow chocolate bunny, a couple of peeps, some bubbles, sidewalk chalk, some plastic eggs with chocolate teddy grahams in some, goldfish in others, and maybe stickers in others. no plush stuff...we've got a ton of that. would have liked to have picked up a piggy bank for each as a substitute, but I've been sick all week so may just call it a day.

My DD is 3 1/2 and my DS is 22 months old. They are getting the following in their baskets:

Both will get a Hoola Hoop
Bubbles
A dump truck for DS
A Care Bear toy for DD
A Strawberry Shortcake puzzle for DD
An Elmo puzzle for DS
Dove Solid Bunny
Hershey Kisses
Eggs filled with jelly beans
Peeps

Not much else, since we are about to purchase a wooden playset for the backyard. That purchase will cover their birthday presents for the next 15 years! ;)

We try not to do a ton of candy. My DS is only 2.5 so he does not need it. And if it is there, I will eat it...And I dont need it either!

There will be some candy (M&Ms are his favorite), but very limited.

His basket will have stuff in them.

Stick Pony (which will be next to the basket)
Couple of Puzzles
Rainbow Ribbon Rings
Dinosaur Stamps
Ice Age 2 figures
Diego & Dora figures
Winnie The Pooh DVD
Coloring Books

The eggs the Easter Bunny hides, will have eiter a Matchbox Car or Thomas the Train figure in it.

My dd is 2 1/2 and she is getting some small chocolates, peeps, Gerber fruit snacks, Mini blueberry muffins (she loves them) new hair clips and accessories, a little Dora dinner tray for when her and her big brother eat in front of the tv. a couple dollar store coloring books, Playdoe, and a chocolate Hello Kitty Bunny

My DS will be 3 in July. He's getting:
A four-pack of the smal milky way bunnies
Sidewalk chalk
A bubble gun
Stitch tool bench (from disney store, on sale for $20 so I couldn't pass it up!)

The easter bunny will also be hiding a Spongs Bob easter egg (filled with candy and stickers I think) and six plastic eggs for DS to find with:
Stickers
Bath towel from Disney Store
Small buzz lightyear car
Small zurg car
Bunny bouncy ball
Sponges (the little ones that look like a pill and then you put it in water and it forms a shape)

Before, I used to also include character-shampoos, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bandages.
