What will be closed last Feb 28 , 29 & March 1

Are there any closures I should be aware of. I know Wild West is gon, and Hitchcock and King Kong are gone from last time I was there...

Anything else gone , or in refurb?

We will be there on those dates also. I think the only thing down will be Ripsaw Falls. It is kind of a bummer for us because the kids didn't get to ride it last year.

We won't be there at 9:00 - but we will be at the airport at that time. Our flight leaves around 11:00 and we get there around 2:00. Are you staying onsite?

EsmeraldaX - Dark Marauder on these boards works at Universal and said it will be closed for six weeks. Anyone know when the six weeks start?

If it hasn't already, the refurb will be starting Sunday (I'm guessing).

It was originally scheduled for rehab in Sept, but it was kept open becasue they couldn't afford to lose Ripsaw and Blutos in the same month.

Esmeralda-Shrek has replaced Hitchcockand Jimmy Neutron has replaced Hanna-Barbera. Also the big waterworld boat is now gone from the USF lagoon.

What is the Triceratops Discovery Trail?

Discovery Trail is a sort of show where they have an animatronic triceratops. It looks somewhat real and the "scientist" performs an examination on it while the audience looks on. It's cute for kids, but no big deal to miss.

I really wish they would change that attraction to something else. Maybe a walkthrough maze themed to Jurassic park or something. It would be a little more exciting.

Good Idea Spidey! My kids were not very impressed. My son went to pick up my daughter because she couldn't reach the dinosaur (too short). The lady "scientist" almost had a heart attack! I have a picture of it, it is hilarious!!

I know. When they asked for a volunteer, my son was right up front and the lady told us "he's too small." He was crushed.

When we go back, I will see if he is big enough. Oh, and thanks! I just think they could do so much more with that space.

Thanks. We're just two adults & although we like dinosaurs, doesn't sound like this is something we'd have spent much time on anyway.
