What were you doing in 1990?

In the spring I was finishing 6th grade and in the fall I was starting 7th grade. :)

I had some pretty bad things go on early in the year, but in October of 1990 my DH who was then my ex-boyfriend finally located me and we started talking on the phone again. He was away in tech school and I wouldn't see him again til at least December of that year.
In November of 90 he asked me to marry him!! So the year ended wonderfully as I was engaged to the love of my life! :lovestruc :hyper2:
6 months later we were married and 13 years later...here we are...STILL MARRIED!! :bride: :love2: :groom:

I was working in a daycare with 2 yo's. My oldest was 4 and adorable. My family was happy back then.
My mom and my grandma was still here.

Graduated from college then was moved to the Philippines by the military.

In 1990 we were DINKs dong whatever it is we did back then. I can't even remember what life was like b.c. (before children)!

I was about 10 or 11 then( it just depends on what month we are talking about). :)

I graduated from highschool in MD on 6/9/90 and went to community college. :sunny:

Gee I moved from New York to Texas and at first I thought it was the end of the world too. DS #2 was only 2 months old. Having to find doctors, stores, friends etc. was not easy, especially when everyone kept calling us the "yankees" and asking us if we had lived in a skyscraper. Geez.:teeth: :teeth: I broke the ice when they said that by asking them if I could see their horse!

1990 was a roller coaster for me.

January - while at a doctor's appointment to get on the pill found something wrong.

Early March - got engaged

Mid-March- final diagnosis - ovarian cancer - had a full hsterectomy.

April to August – chemo

September – bridal showers

October – wedding and WDW honeymoon!

Was it Charles Dickens who said - it was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

:D :D

I was busy with the boys who at that time were 10, 2 and an infant.

I was 13 years old and about to choose what subjects I wanted to study for my exams that I would take when I was 16.

Hmmm...First of all, I think that popular music was on a downward spiral. :teeth:

That's what I thought when I saw the list too!

I was in preschool. Went to WDW for the first time in April of 1990 (been obsessed ever since...no lie), and got a baby sister in September of that year. Now she's graduating 8th grade in a week:eek:
