Sorry, Lime, I can't remember specifics. But I'll try to post the bits and pieces that I remember, that might jog other people's memory for more details.
BTW, love the Wikipedia article -- I think it's the single best place to get the summary of VMK info anywhere.
OK here are some random things I remember:
First [non-]Event: the "parade" and scavenger hunt
- the parade was a bazillion players on Main Street who were given marching orders to go West. "Leaders" in each room instance of the parade were given Inferno, I believe. The
speculation is that the "parade" was a server load test, without letting the players know that was the goal.
- this was followed by a "scavenger hunt", where system-wide messages were broadcast to players to find a given VMK person. Prizes were given -- I don't remember, but think they might have been rooms.
Other events:
Celebration- and Space- Theme Event
- room judging contests on 2 days, one day "Celebration" of the 50th anniversary theme, another day "Space" theme for re-opening of Space Mountain
- prizes were also given out for finding VMK who were "hiding", as well as for answering trivia questions that VMK would ask
Pin-trading Theme Event
- room judging contest for pin trading
Pin-trading Repeat Event (after first maze event was cancelled)
That's what I can remember off the top of my head. I bet if you searched on this forum, you could find details in posts.
