Resort Thread Disney's CORONADO SPRINGS Resort

Just back from another great stay. Was there for the exterior washing of the tower and really it didn’t impact anything. DH only noticed it when he went to the car in the parking lot. Chronos Club was good, as usual, if anyone has any questions.

Is the Dahlia Lounge the place to watch fireworks? We have CL at WL, so we can watch the fireworks from MK there. I just can't decide. Leaning towards the Water View, though? What do you all prefer, higher floor or lower? And why?
Yes, higher is better no matter what view you go with as the view is nicer the higher up you are. Alas you will not get the top few guest floors as those go to CL guests.

As for which view, water will guarantee a nice view throughout the day. Resort is a lousy view but EP fireworks if you’re the right direction (and high enough? Can you see them from the first couple guest floors?). So picking between the calming water view and EP firework gamble is really a personal call.

Staying at CSR for the first time. We have a preferred room. What is the bus situation like? We like to be among the first at the park, what's my best strategy? We're doing a split stay and the only park we'll go to during that part of our stay is MK so Uber is out of the question. Thanks!!

The bus situation is ok. 4 stops which gets pretty old fast, however I will say we had buses that came pretty often.

We stayed at Coronado as a fairly last minute booking in January in a standard village room in Casitas 4. I thought this was pretty convenient to the bus stop and not too bad of a walk to the tower. I was really thrown off a bit by the tower because the only time I had stayed at CSR previously was for a conference before the tower was built and it took me a bit to get my bearings. We are spending one night post-cruise in May and are going to try out a club-level tower room.

The bus stop order for the theme parks/water parks is bus stop 2, then 3, then 4, and lastly 1. If going early I would use Bus stop #2 which is by the preferred Casitas area, guaranteed a seat, because early morning is the most crowded. Another reason we rarely do RD anymore.
We rarely have issues with buses and we take them all the time. We drive to WDW and still would rather take WDW transportation. It never bothered us at resorts that have multiple stops, our family is normally talking about the park we're going to and most of the time rarely notice the stops. It really depends on the person. Have a magical time:)
