they designed the new figment?!?! I havent been in a few years but figmetn was always my favorite ride since I was a baby! And now...they have ruined it. I almost cried.

Just be glad you didn't see the debaucle they made of it when it was first redone... this is a vast improvement.

I do miss the original, though... I always loved it. And this can't hold a candle to it.

That's what happens when a group of people sit down and plan out what imagination means. The original was so 'out there' and well... imaginative. The new one is very uninspiring. The version without Figment was a train wreck.

Actually, I think having seen the train wreck version makes this one more bearable! But only barely.

I agree, this is much more bearable than the first reinvention, but I miss the original ride! I only rode it twice when I was 10, but I still remember just how colorful and crazy it was! Its impossible to even pretend to scientifically explain the imagination....even with Eric Idle!

Be happy, thankful, and lucky you didn't see the new Imagination ride before they added Figment..it was basically the same thing but a little shorter and really dumb.

I miss "One Little Spark." And Figment would sign my autograph book - he did when I was a kid! I have proof!! I got his friend to sign it instead...I think her name was Kristen, but she signed it "Figment's Best Friend" for me That's just as good

I agree totally with everyone! I loved the original when you would spin off into your own little room with Figment in the balloon and then the doors would open and you would meet up with the other cars. I could never figure that out!

Add me to the list who misses the original! While I did find DreamFinder a little creepy, I LOVED that ride. When I was really little, I used to imagine what it would be like to live in the pretty, "crystalized" room. I thought it was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen!

I didn't even know there was an original! DD asked to try the ride this trip. We had never been before - she loved it, at age 12!!! She bought a Figment pin, and a key chain, and walks around singing the song.

I must admit - I laughed out loud when I saw the professor as the moon at the end!

this is not really about the ride more the area you end up in after. I found that my last two trips the people working in the photo areas where rude. Not only that three of them were fighting really loud. I am sure that it was just a freak thing, it was weird to see though.

Ugh dont even get me started on that area! The old area was about a bazillion times cooler. Now its just stupid!
