What week are you planning on?

No reservations yet but hoping for WL the week of Nov. 27-Dec. 4 with Fri/Sat Nov. 25-26 offsite doing Discovery Cove and Sea World. We've done Thursday before Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving day and it progressively got more crowded. The week after won out this time because we want to go to MVMCP.

We are going the week immediately following Thankgiving for a couple of reasons. #1, the trip is for our son's 1st b'day, which is in November, but we wanted to go at a time when other family members could join us, and when the crowds would be quite low. #2, dh's b'day is 12/1 and he wants to eat at Akershus for his b'day dinner, LOL! #3, it's cheaper (our first night in the resort is the first night of Value Season, hooray!). HTH

Well at looks like I don't have much to worry as far as crowds right now.

We are going Nov. 19-25. (Saturday-Friday) I expect Thursday (Thanksgiving) to get really busy. But I will be okay with that since we will have had Sat-Wed with less crowds.

Yeah, but you've gotta remember, the majority of visitors don't post on these boards or do TOO much research into time of year, etc. They aren't psychotic like us, LOL! They go when they have vacation time, and although I do think this year will be heavier than usual during that whole Nov.-Dec. period, the week of Thanksgiving will be at least moderately crowded, and possibly mobbed! In other words, a lot of *us might avoid Thanksgiving week, but Joe Q. Public won't!

We're planning on arriving before Dec 4th - Dec 11th. I have no idea where we're going to stay except it will be a deluxe resort I would like the WL, but it depends on if we can get an AP rate there.

I am currently planning a surprise trip (12/15-20) for DH's Birthday. He is going to be 38. I on the other hand am only 25

I couldn't vote in the poll as we are going December 21st - January 2nd. I know it will be really busy but 3 out of the 4 of us work in schools so we are limited to when we can go.
