What WDW restaraunt won't you go back to? And why not?

Ohana was just awful for me. The meat was VERY dry... I liked the beef but our "cousin" never came back to check on us. The appetizers were "ok" the dessert was avg... I didn't really like anything and left hungry.

The restaurant in france (chefs du france I think it's called?)... The service was ok but our poor CM must've just arrived from france she was VERY confused by everything we asked for.. including water. The food was VERY average. The creme Brule saved this meal for me but other than that... I have no ambition to return.

LTT - I concur with the badness of the processed-ness of the food. It messed with my tummy, too, as I don't usually eat that kind of stuff and was not prepared for it.

Restaurantasaurus - when we walked in with friends and realized it was a McDonald's, we had a bit of a temper tantrum and then had to walk all the way back to Tusker House.

Donald's Breakfastosaurus, for a $100. Character Breakfast I want more then 5 minutes with all 4 character and the food was nothing great. I ended up filling myself with the Krispy Kream donuts because everything else was so/so.

We won't return to Pepper Market, horrible food and drinks, horrible.

We won't return to O'hana, meet was tough, slow service.

We won't return to Yachtsman Steakhouse, we have had better steaks at Outback. Horrible service at Yachtsman..way way overpriced for the quality of meat they are using.

Tony's, all we could say is yuck..how do you mess up a sandwich??

Olivia's (dinner) at OKW, horrible service terrible food.

Rose and Crown (restaurant side), the food is bland and unappealing.

Yorkshire County Fishshop...who wants soggy fish/chips...ugh!

ESPN Club...they use the same chili for chili dogs as for nachos..yuck, the place smells like a toilet all the time.

Maya Grill (breakfast)...this isn't worth more than about $7.99 per person, if that. Not good at all.

Wolfgang Puck's the dining Room....mediocre food, horrible service.

Well just dandy. I have my son's D-day meal scheduled at LTT and we have our anniversary dinner at Ohana's. Guess we'll take our chances since we're 24 days out and I already have about 30 canceled ADR's under my name! :rotfl:

I would have to say the Storybook Princess breakfast in Norway at EPCOT. We practically had to beg for more food. Our family of 4 was served small dishes of the breakfast items . . . barely enough for us each to have some of each food item. Our server was slow and seemed perturbed that we wanted more food. THe princesses rushed through. We definitely preferred CRT for breakfast and won't be back to Restaurant AKershus.

I can't believe O'Hana! We were just there 2 weeks ago and all 16 of us agreed that it was the best meal we had all week. Given that, I have 2:

1) The Princess Breakfast at Norway. You get scrambled eggs, bacon, rolls, potatoes and sausage for like $21 an adult. The princesses are great, but dropping $50 for two adults is tough...
2) Yachtsman Steakhouse. We've traditionally had GREAT food every time we've been there, but this time the steaks were sub-par at best.

CRT - Food was terrible - servers had to much to do, glad we did it once

LTT - tasted like frozen food - servers were great, again glad we did it once

Alfredos - food was awful - server was so-so, NOT glad we did it once

Planet Hollywood - too much time taken out of our evening, will not go back

Isnt it great though that there are so many others to choose from? :cool1:

Hollywood and Vine - AWFUL food... service was okay, but the food was just nasty. Many of the items were cold and bland. Definately not worth the price. It's the first time I can recall in a long time leaving a buffet and being hungry!

1900 Park Fare - we didn't actually eat there, but the service was so bad at check-in that we decided not to go in that night, and never to return. (We've given up on WDW buffets - except for Boma).

Tony's - way too much $$$ to pay for mediocre italian food. Can get much better at the food courts of the resorts, or just make it from a can.

Some others that we likely won't revisit would include 'Ohana and Spoodles. Most of the food at 'Ohana was pretty good, except for the meats. We found most of those pretty tough. We had breakfast at Spoodles and it just wasn't worth it. We "might" think about trying it for dinner instead.

As for Boma, we love it. I don't really get the reference to coffee flavor... maybe in some of the desserts where they use the liquors.... :confused3 It's my 2nd favorite out of all the places I've dined at WDW... Citricos being the first!

I am not knocking anyone on this thread, but please take all of these opinions with a grain of salt. I think if everyone on DIS posted on this thread, every restaurant would be mentioned.

There is no doubt that people have a bad meal at these places, but if they went back on a perhaps a different day, with a different server, and ordered a different meal, and were in a different mood, they may have a better experience. Then again, maybe not.

Again, just my opinion. I would caution anyone to worry too much if a restaurant they are going to appears on this thread.

For us it would have to be Cantina de San Angel for CS and Liberty Tree Tavern for TS, good service but food was not good at all.

Big J . YOU ARE RIGHT . TAKE THESE POSTS WITH A GRAIN OF SALT! THAT BEING SAID THE OLD SAYING "YOU ONLY GET TO MAKE A 1ST IMPRESSION ONCE!" APLLIES HERE. OBVIOUSLY NO RESTRAUNT/EATING PLACE HAS BEEN CLOSED AT WDW BECUASE OF NEGATIVE POSTS, THEY GET CLOSED BECUASE EITHER THERE THEME/AGE/PURPOSE NO LONGER IS A GOOD ATTRACTION, OR ATTENDENCE DROPS. THE LATTER USUALLY HAPPENS BECUASE OF BAD SERVICE/FOOD/ATMOSPHERE PEOPLE HAVE GOTTEN AND THEY DON'T RETURN , OR WORSE YET WORD OF MOUTH OF THERE EXPERIENCE KEEPS NEW PEOPLE FROM TRYING IT. ITS JUST LIKE ANY RESTARAUNT IN ANYONE'S HOMETOWN. WORD OF MOUTH DICTATES HOW WELL OF BUSINESS THE RESTRAUNT WILL DO IN THE LONG RUN. :teacher:

50's Prime Time Cafe is stupid and they've ruined Liberty Tree Tavern.

Sorry, but processed food is processed food is processed food. Period. They cooked it fine, they served it fine, they did the best they could. What is boils down to is what your standards and expectations are for food. There are some people that are just fine with pressed turkey and ham and frozen carrots. And then there are some people that want more for $20-something bucks.

Well, count us in for O'hana too. Really loud--I wanted to shoot that hula lady--very crowded and horrible horrible service. Worst service I have ever received at WDW. The food was okay, but they hardly brought the skewers by ever and many of our very large party left hungry still. Not good.

Wouldn't go to Tony's again either. Way over priced for what you get.

CRT--same deal: overpriced, lousy service. And that whole getting up early for a week to get in was a total waste of time. No WAY would I pay what they are asking now. Our only saving grace was that our boys were both under three and were free. Of course, the waitress also treated them like second class citizens because of it so that was not a good deal.

Teppanyaki grill - the food was very bland - but even worse, the whole party was sick that night. :sad2:

Akershus dinner - I tried it but it just wasn't me or DH's style. I guess I won't be moving to Norway anytime soon!

Brown Derby at MGM - I know this is very highly rated but I just didn't enjoy my meal. :confused3

The buffet at Norway (I can't remember the name). Why? Two words: Head Cheese. :scared1: We were there for lunch and it was all we could do to find something we liked.
Oh no we have and ADr there for DD 6 who wants to see Aerial. I was scared when I saw the menu as it was! I've never eaten anywhere at WDW that was horrible. Worst IMO is Sci-Fi at MGM.

i think you should stop moaning,we ate there before and it was fantastic :cool1:

This is kind of rude... I haven't seen anyone "moaning"... OP asked which restaurants WE didn't like and everyone has told.. and given their reason. Just because you liked it doesn't mean it's "fantastic" to everyone.

No need to insult.

If you go for breakfast, the menu will be different. Don't count on Ariel, though. They say that the characters are 'subject to change'. When we were there 2 weeks ago, we saw Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White and Belle.
