What WDW attraction would you nominate for an "Extreme Makeover" ??

I love WDW just the way it is, but if I could change things here is what I would do:


Peter Pan - just seems old and boring to me, my kids have even lost interest

Snow White - too boring for adults, too scary for kids

Jungle Cruise - please change the jokes, "inspiration falls", etc...

COP - add more decades

Speedway - is there anyway this could smell better???

Space Mountain - I'd love to see this turned into a smooth modern roller coaster ride like RnR. It's too jerky and old fashioned

Star Tours - out of date, boring, too jerky

Great Movie Ride - update final film as you are exiting the ride

Backlot tour - my least favorite attraction at WDW

Journey into Imagination - take out the smelly part!!!

You said pretty much what I was going to say. Jungle Cruise has some of the same jokes that I remember back when I went in '72! I will add Sounds Dangerous (awful) and there was something there in '02 that we went in to see and it was just advertising new ABC sitcoms...waste of time. (MGM)

As much as I love going to Disney, I will agree that some of the rides need updating. Even my DW agrees.

For the Magic Kingdom- Her first choice was It's a Small World. I believe my first choice would be The Jungle Cruise. Both rides need a lot of updating.

For Epcot- I would love to see Universe of Energy get a renovating. (Mainly getting rid of Ellen. Never have liked her.)

For MGM- MGM is probably my favorite park but I would like to see more stuff to do there. So my renovation would be to add more rides. Otherwise, get rid of Drew Carey's show.

Animal Kingdom- Can't really say anything needs to be updated yet as it is still growing and honestly, I haven't seen all of it yet.

There are my opinions. What's yours?

Carousel of Progress! Yuck. I know it was Walt's personal idea...but it is so poorly maintained by the CMs. Started late, talked over, ended abruptly. The decades need some adjusting too.

Here are my picks -

Magic Kingdom

The Enchanted Tiki Room - It needed an overhaul, but from someone who's funny. Not the awful thing they have in there now.

The Speedway - I havent been on it in years, because I know its not worth the time in line, it smells bad, and there is always a long wait. I love how they take out a beloved ride like 20,000 leagues, because of cost, but somehow this crappy ride, which runs off of gas, stays around. FIX IT!

Stitch - come on. NO ONE LIKES IT.

Epcot

Test Track - Im sorry. Riding in a car at speeds of 65 miles per hour is nothing imperssive. I drive on the interstate all the time. Sometimes I go 75. Put a real coaster in there.

MGM

The backlot tour - its so dated. And so bad. Catastrophe canyon makes me yawn.

Voyage of the little mermaid - put it back to the orginal version and stop telling the actress to sing incredibly different from Ariel.

Im pretty happy with WDW. I'll still go, and ride this stuff. EVen if they never change it.

Don't know where you live but is your local Amusement Park Knoebels? We've been there a couple of times!

I wasn't the one who posted but I go there every year and LOVE it. We camp from Wed-Sun and I'd still stay longer. It's great to go to a park and not have to pay to enter. We go sometimes at night just to eat and for the entertainment.

Muppets 3D would certainly not be on my list..... I LOVE that ride.

For me it would be Tomorrowland Transit Authority. The TTA goes along a nice path which is cool, but those cars could use an updated look IMHO.

Without a doubt a crowd favorite here, just needs some Disney polish to keep up with technology.

Rode Spaceship Earth for the first time this year and really liked it, but after 20 years, must have newer, comfortable seating and quiet/smoother track, plus a few other things.

Astro Orbiter..... could the elevator ride up to the attraction BE more pedestrian? Jazz it up a bit for goodness sakes!

I know this is heresy, but I've never liked Spaceship Earth, the ride. Outside it is COOL, but the ride is hokey to me, and the animatronics are pathetic.

I love Peter Pan and flying over London. Snow White is weird...like a cheap amusement park ride.

Speedway needs something...but I jsut don't ride it, so It matters little to me.
COP needs more imagination and yes, more decades!!!
Haven't been on Backlot tour in a long time....just driving by wigs and clothes and froggy toes loses after the first few times. I don't have a prob with Catastrophy Canyon as some here suggest, but maybe more things of interest and changing things on the rideabout.

I enjoyed the ETAlien. Haven't ridden Stitch, didn't see the movie, not likely too, think he looks like a glob.

Indiana Jones either needs a new script! Id love to have the DL ride in WDW...Dinosaur is the same technology but dumbed down ..I'd leave it at AK and put the IJ ride in place of the stunt show.
