hardest pin to get? Not one you are after but one you already have....

The Fantasia 2000 set of 9 pins that I believe came from the Glendale Studio. Took almost a year to find the one I got. I had only seen two prior to that and haven't seen one since.

Mine was the Jail Scene. After lots of trade requests that were never accepted, I wrote a song called "Yo ho, yo ho, a Jail Scene pin for me." (unfortunately, the song is forever lost as it was on the boards with the previous server...did I get the techno stuff right?) Lisa (Tiggersmom) offered to trade with me and the rest is history!!!

My Holy grail... the 1999 Tokyo Disneyland Red Cross Blood Drive pin.

But thanks to many friends, I was able to finally obtain it.

Definitely my Chernaboag Villian Event pin.

I am finally got it but took a real pin bloodhound and a room of about a thousand traders to close this one out.

None have been a major hassale -- well maybe about 80% of the YoD. ;)
But my first thought was my 26 NE state pins. ;)

Mine was Lutron and Radiology from the Innoventions set. It took me forever to get those two pins...

hehehe...
Still working on it with another trader. And it's not even for me!!! :)

It took me about a year to complete the "My First" series, with the last and most difficult being My First Pooh.(finally!)But , the most memorable trade in the quest was one at Epcot in April 2001 where a very kind trader arranged a third party trade for a My First Goofy. Thanks again to this fine person!

Yep. After hounding people for about 6-8 months for that darn 1999 Food and Wine Plate pin.....Nat finally gave in and traded it to me for a Tink Around the World. Of course, that was only after every one of my DISpals began calling it the Food & Whine Plate pin. As we all know, our wise and benevolent moderator acted for the greater good of pintraders everywhere.

2 pins have been the hardest for me, one I have one I don't. My hardest pin so far was my first holy grail, the WDW PTP, and like others on this thread it was T-Mom (Lisa) who finally traded me for it. My second is needed to complete a set that, thanks to Nat, is a whole lot closer to completion. All I need now to finish my 2000 Innoventions set is the Xerox pin.

Mine would be the MSEP spinner. Someone here on these boards was kind enough to trade it to me when I was even more of a novice than I am now.

DL Mickey Name tag pin....I had wanted that pin for the longest time and when
I went to the Mean L. and AJJ Pin meet I found a gentleman who was willing to trade
me for a Tink around the world...I was having heart palpitations as my DH went back to the hotel to get the Tink....!! I just love that pin!
