What was your very first pin trade? Still have that pin?

Do you remember what you traded? Where? Why? I'd love to know how other people got started. I blame my DH! It was my first lengthly solo trip, and he bought me a few DS pins to give me something to do to talk to people. The second day (it took that long for me to get up the courage!), I traded a CM for #374, Mickey holding the WDW sign. Still have it, wouldn't trade it for anything-pure nostalgia value. What about everyone else?

You are supposed to tell about your first online trade !! Wasn't that when we traded last year?

I don't remember my first trade at WDW &/or with a CM, but I remember my first online trade with a "stranger!" In January 2000 I needed one pin to complete my Countdown to the Millennium TDS set. I had called several stores in my area & the area where I grew up & no luck. So, I posted on the DIS bb & within an hour or so I got a response. I don't remember which pin, but I DO still have it! Thanks again, Michael!!

I traded a CM at World of Disney for a 2000 POM Typhoon Lagoon. I've been hooked since! And yes, I still have that pin and now have 10 of the 12 pins in that set.

Oh, yes-my first online trade-when I sent my transportation series pin out "into the wild blue yonder" of the mail, not knowing if I'd get the promised pin in return (I admit I don't remember what pin you sent me Judith). Before I knew of the reference board-what blind trust-and fear!

Dorothy, I sent you #3186 EPCOT Christmas pin. I have a card file right next to my computer - it wasn't that I remembered off the top of my head !
