Such a hard question to answer... the first person I felt "in love" with was my high school boyfriend, David, but I've grown a lot since then and don't know how I'd classify it now.

Never really loved anyone until DH.
Always had issues saying it, was never like my friends who told all their boyfriends within a few months that they loved them.
(I dated, I just didn't *love* them)

I think that is how I knew DH was the one. Minds out of the gutter, please, but my bed was the only comfy for TV viewing location at the time, I was a poor college student who lived by herself!... and we were laying in bed and I just felt like I needed to tell him.

I remember how nervous I was and how I muted the TV and started fiddling with everything. He was so freaked out until I finally spit it out!
