What was your favourite childhood sweet/chocolate?

Hershey Bar/Milk Chocolate
A small grocery store we used to walk to had a big selection of penny candy. My favorites were always the Hershey miniatures or foil wrapped chocolate football, baseball, or basketballs (what was offered depended on the season).

Cadbury Fudge Bars. I could only find them in Canada, so when we visited my mom's family, I would bring a few home.

Chocolate covered cherries
Chocolate covered jelly rings (orange or raspberry)
Reese's peanut butter cups

I was poor in the 60s...so quarter bought two Big Hunks, which cost 10 cents and nickel bought bubble gum....Big Hunk lasted a long time, maybe not as long as the more expensive Sugar Daddy and not as sweet and messy. I still had my Big Hunk wile sisters had consumed their treasure long time ago.

and seeing it is made of honey....that is why my teeth lasted so long...or at least in part.....

Big Hunk is a candy bar made by Annabelle Candy Company. It first entered production in the 1950s, in the United States. It is a bar of roasted peanuts covered in chewy honey-sweetened nougat. It was featured in Steve Almond’s book, Candyfreak, as being one of several successful candies made by a small company. Big Hunk was acquired by Annabelle Candy Company when the company purchased Golden Nugget Candy Company in 1970.

Short lived as it was, I loved walking to the corner store and picking up a TMNT pie.

OMG Tart N Tinys! I had totally forgotten about those, loved them!

Also loved Fun Dip (which I always called Lik M Aid), candy cigarettes, Jolly Ranchers (cinnamon), Junior Mints, Reese's. This list could get very long.
