What was your favorite part of your cruise?

I don't think I could do 1 exclusively, but I can name our top 3:

(1) Each and every time we heard "When You Wish Upon a Star" whistle blow.

(2) The hospitality and meticulousness of the ship and crew.

(3) The entertainment (Hercules, Disney Dreams, deck parties, family games, the pianist in Cadillac Lounge/Sessions, the duo in Promenade Lounge, etc.)

Castaway Cay!
Seeing how much fun my daughter was having!
The joy on her face when they sang Happy Birthday to her for her 4th birthday!

Having a quiet breakfast with my DW and grandsons on our verandah while the rest of our family (in the adjoining cabins)
slept late.

Spending an entire week as a family without interuptions. Getting up when we wanted, eating when we wanted, you get the idea. Our kids were 11 and 7 at the time and they were in the Disney programs maybe 2 hours the entire week. Instead of shipping them off we valued sharing fun times with them all day and night for 7 wonderful days. I just remember the most difficult decision we ever had was which beach to spend the day at in St. Maartin.

Favorite: embarking:D

Least Favorite: debarking:(

These all sound so nice. I especially like what Dreamer04 said
My favorite memory is watching as my painfully shy DD, 5, approached Cinderella and said, in her ear, "Cinderella, I've always wanted to meet you. Can I have your autograph?". Cinderella responded "Oh sweetheart! Of course!" Then she gently hugged my little girl.

Priceless!!!!

Having a verandah also sounds nice. No verandah for us, but that's okay. We're just happy to get to go on a cruise with our kids.

Also, I can't wait to go to Castaway Cay! I've heard so much about it, on others threads as well as this one.

Thanks for all your replies..makes me want to go even more!

I've sailed with and w/o the verandah and both ways were great. I really liked the verandah so I could put out wet bathing suits, etc. and they dried quickly. If I had to choose between going and not going, I would still sail w/o the verandah.

From boarding the ship, to exploring every corner front to back.......the most amazing part was being on a true vacation where my husband couldn't use his cell phone!!! Usually my kids try to hide it from him, but it wasn't even an option on our cruise!!!! All fun and NO work allowed!!!!

Dreamer04, I had tears in my eyes when I read your post because I still feel that way when I am waiting in line to hug my guy....Mickey Mouse!!!!!!!
