What was your favorite meal your last trip??

Without a doubt - Artist Point!!!

I had the tenderloin - Mom had the salmon - both were fantastic. For dessert we had the berry cobbler and rosemary creme brulee - again both very memorable! One of those "Wow" kind of meals.:thumbsup2

I was there Sept 26th-Oct 4th and was on the DxDDP, so did alot of Signature restaurants (California Grill, Yatchsman, Flying Fish, Citricos, Narcoosee, and Artist Point). I also ate at Chef's de France, Le Cellier (twice--lunch and dinner), Coral Reef, Boma (breakfast), Kouzzina (breakfast), Tony's, Planet Hollywood, Maya Grill, Yak& Yeti, Tusker House, and Tokyo Dining.

I have to agree that by far the best meal of the trip was Artist Point. I had the mussels, buffalo sirloin, berry cobbler, and a virgin pina colava, plus a glass of ice wine with dessert:cloud9::love:

I would recommend one of the two restaurants run by Iron Chef's

My first choice is the Blue Zoo. I will second the props for the Cantonese Lobster. Also make sure you get the shake and bake fries as a starter.
(Although I don't think Todd English like to talk about it he was Iron Chef American on the very cheesy 2 episode Iron Chef USA with William Shatner as the Chairman. Should I ask him about this at the signature diner Friday ;-) )

For those on the DDP I would recommend Kouzzina by Cat Cora. I'm not a fan of hers (I think she is the Rachel Ray of Iron Chefs), but the food here was very good and the service is exceptional. I hope it lasts. I am starting to change my opinion of Cat Cora after eating here.

Best meal for Sept 08 was Tutto Italia--
I had the Pasta with the Crab meat (forgot name) cleaned my
plate. DH had the Salmon with the Italian Green beans.
DS had the Pasta with Fresh Maranara (this is the most
flaverful sauce that I've ever tasted).
The desserts were very good also. We will be making ADRs
again for this upcoming trip.

2nd was "Donald's Safari Breakfast" I thought the variaty was
good and food excellent--this one surprised me.
I also thought the atmosphere was wonderful.

Our last trip was 1/31 - 2/7 and we were on the DxDP. We ate at the following:

Flying Fish
Narcoosees (2x)
LeCellier
Coral Reef
Artis Point
Jiko
Boma

And here is our ranking...
1. Narcoosees (2x - where'd think it was going to rank ;)) - for the food, atmosphere, and pace. We had window seats with view of the castle and firework, with the music piped in.
2. Flying Fish - food was excellent.
3. Jiko - We did the sunset safari and the sampler meal. Thought the food was really good, but could be all the wine talking.
4. Artist Point - I loved it DW not so much.
5. Coral Reef - My wife loved it me not so much.
6. LeCellier
7. Boma

We had our favourite meal at Teppan Edo last August. It was great!

:confused3 It even beat out Ohana for me. My son has decided that this was his favourite restaurant.:thumbsup2

My favorite meal from my last trip is CRT. It was our first time eating there and the food was SO good! It was also exciting eating in the Castle.

Just returned yesterday. Our favorite meal for both food and entertainment was Teppan Edo.

A surprise for us was we really enjoyed the Crystal Palace breakfast meal. We had omelets made for us and also enjoyed (a lot...) the puffed french toast in the kid section. We were very pleased with the food there. Kids loved the character entertainment.

O'Hana. We always do O'Hana and try lots of other places. But nothing beats O'Hana for the whole family.

I'll say lunch at the Grand Floridian Cafe. We've dined there the past two trips and it is quickly becoming a favorite.:earsboy:

I've never been to any of the signature places before, plan on it once DD is a little older and can enjoy the adult menu selections (the rest of the cast changes with each trip, but she's my main travel buddy!). So far, we've eaten mostly at the 1 TS places, some have been great!

On our last trip, Yak and Yeti surprised and delighted me the most. It was by far the best meal of our trip (and the only one we walked up at, no ADR).

So all of you who can't get the place/time you're looking for, try something different that you hadn't thought about -- it might be the BEST meal of all! :lovestruc

We a had a lot of great meals, and my wife might disagree with me but I loved going to the Biergarten. The food is great, the atmosphere is cool, and the beer is delicious.

Our best meal on the last trip (Oct 2008) was Flying Fish. First time we tried it and we loved it.

We leave tomorrow (3 a.m. ), and our first new place to try this year will be the Wave. Also will try Kouzinna and Saana and maybe Paridisio 37.

But our grand finale to the trip will be Flying Fish! Yum!!!

Lin

From our August 09 trip the best meal was Wolfgang Pucks Cafe and that was over Jiko and Flying Fish which really surprised me. The pumpkin ravioli was to die for so we will probably be going back there again next year.
