What was your favorite Christmas present?

A new house - WONDERFUL gift! Congratulations!!

My favorite gift was my parents' & my gift to my sons - new bunkbeds, mattresses, etc., etc., etc. They actually SQUEALED when they saw it...shhhh...but don't tell anyone! LOL

We did a lot of running around and worked hard to put them together - I was so happy they loved them.

A fuzzy, fleecy, pepto-bismol pink bathrobe, with an "M" on it in Laverne&Shirley script, from my roommate.

And also the Target gift card my dad sent, after he and my stepmom bought me a bunch of gifts when they visited a few weeks ago. (They live halfway across the country.) When I called to thank him and (jokingly) suggest that he'd gone senile and forgotten about the others, he said, "You're worth it, kid.... especially compared to the others! [my sisters... have issues]" That's my dad - the one time a year he says something semi-smushy, he reverts immediately back to his smartass self. Love you, Dad!

It was a very Mickey Christmas for me.

I got a Mickey Mouse toaster, Mickey pajamas, a new Mickey jacket (my old one was showing it's age) and a Disney Mahjongg computer game. Who knew they even made this? I've always loved playing Mahjongg, but to have the Disney version is just awesome.

DH also got me some of my favorite perfume (Clinique Happy) and ear muffs (the kind that wrap around the back of your head so they don't mess up your hair). He's such a sweetie, and I love every single thing he got me!

My favorite recieved (not counting what I bought myself when DH said "go get something from the cross stitch store" ) would be the nice embroidery scissors my parents got me.

I would also include the DVD/VCR combo my DH got me that I asked for, but it doesn't seem to record properly and won't play tapes recorded on the other VCR. We're going to try to fix that this week.

My favorite given is 4-fold, actually. One was a silk gauze cardinal I stitched for my mom (related to cross stitch and needlepoint), another the blackwork and beadwork cross stitch I designed for her, third a blackwork done for my dad, and fourth the blackwork I designed for my dad. Oh, and also the tatted bits of lace I made for my mom. She was so happy getting them, it was one of those Christmases where you can't wait for others to open what you got them.

We also had success with the presents we got MIL and GFIL. DH wasn't sure about what I picked out for GFIL, but he really enjoyed it.

I got my D&B bag! It's sooooo adorable, and doesn't look nearly as much like the LV bag as I was expecting from the pics online!
Thanks for the support-paying for college by yourself IS pretty tough!

The D&B bag, the new Blink 182 cd (been a fan forever), the No Doubt DVD, and Spyro for GBA (I'm a 20 year old 6th grader, what can I say??) plus we spent all day just hanging out and relaxing, I had the best Christmas

My favorite gift (still have more to open this weekend) was the gloves, scarf, and hat in polar fleece my parents got me.
I go to school in indiana and have been freezing my butt off since i didnt have any of this
My mom wanted to make me a quilt to take with me to college but was so busy she couldnt finish it so today i opened a box and inside were all the squares for my quilt It was so sweet of her.

My mom gave each of us... me, DH, DS and DS a check for $1,000.00!! That was a shocker! When I first looked at my check, I thought the bank had made a mistake and put the decimal point in the wrong place (100.00).... but she said no, that's right!!

My favorite, and biggest gift that I've ever received, was a new Town and Country minivan. I knew I was getting it, but the kids didn't know that I knew. They were so funny when they woke up and peaked outside. In my spot was the van with a red bow on it. The keys were wrapped up with the gifts from Santa.

I also got a new wardrobe that I've been definitely needing since I've dropped 2 sizes since September.

The kids were more excited about the van than they were about anything that they got from anyone else.

I got a Nomination bracelet and my 4 year old picked out all the charms on it It was exactly what I wanted. He picked 3 charms when we were in WDW a few weeks ago, a Sorcerer Mickey Hat, Cinderella and Mickey with a little stocking, M O M, a rainbow, one with 2 hearts on it and one with LOVE on it.

He also made 2 things in school, a calendar with his handprints on each month and a welcome mat that his footprints are snowmen. They are awesome!!

My best Christmas gift this year was to visit the Page Family in Houston, Texas and to have Nate Page take a nap on my lap. There is no price tag that can be put on this memory. My DW and I gave each other this trip as an early Christmas gift.

Dec 26... Update....
We received more cards and gifts today than we did before Christmas. Post office is not to blame: our families are just that way.

From my sister who knows how much we love Disney: Deluxe 2 DVD set w/book, POTC.

Can't wait to see this. We somehow missed it when it was at the theaters. I've heard it's great. Good thing we've got plenty of popcorn in the house!
