What was your best ever view from a resort?

YC water view room 2161, best room ever. Looked out over the lake with a view of the Boardwalk and marina, it was beautiful.

Cinderella Castle at night from Hawaii at the Polynesian is my best view. I love the view of the castle changing colors that I'll be back there in December 2004.

The castle view from hawaii at the poly, and the 5th floor at the beach club,if you look up the walk way to the beach club our room had the balcony with the flag in front.our dec trip to contemporary tower club level will be another to add to the list!

Best view so far has been Ground floor Lagoon view in Hawaii at the Poly - hands down!

Room 3053 at the Yacht Club had an awesome view of the marina and the Boardwalk all lit up at night. It was great...now that was our first trip onsite to Disney so I can't wait to have 3 or 4 more rooms to compare it to! :D

Definitely AKL!!! Stepping out onto our balcony and seeing giraffe right under window.... INCREDIBLE!!!!

CR, MK View 10th Floor. DW and I sat on the balcony for the fireworks, music piped in, thousands of twinkly white lights in the trees - Magic!

we have had some beautiful views from the Swan & Dolphin...our favorite was the year we could look out at see the ToT and Fantasmic! It was so much fun to watch the cars stream in and out of the MGM parking lot--we could really tell how crowded the park had been that day.

here are views from our room at the Dolphin in October 2002

I think we were in the East Wing...not sure about that, though. I never pay attention :)

A very small (nonexistant) pool of experiences to choose from, but I'm not sure the beauty of the AKL views can be beat. It took everything in us to rip ourselves away from our animal roommates to go to the parks! How amazing to wake up and hear the giraffes outside eating their "breakfast" of tree bark!

I've had 2: a direct view of Cindy's Castle from the Tahiti building at the Poly, and a view of Epcot/Boardwalk/Swan from the Dolphin. I stayed out on the balcony for hours just staring, wishing I could take up permanent residence in those 2 rooms. :)

3rd floor YC, Water View. Our room was in the bank of rooms facing Crescent Lake that are next to the "turret". Great view of the Boardwalk and the lake. Loved waking up to the boat horns in the morning!! Also could see the lasers and fireworks from Illuminations.

I'm going to miss that at BCV.

My son & I recently had the most magnificent view from our balcony at the CR of the MK! (room 4740, 11th floor)

So many views, so little time:

YC Waterview concierge 5th floor - view of Eiffel tower and Illuminations and Boardwalk every night.

Contemporary - 12th floor club, end room, perfect view of Castle and Space Mountain

WL - courtyard view, high floor, water parade, pool

GF - upgrade to Honeymoon lagoon room, view of Poly & the wedding chapel...saw 2 weddings with Cinderella coach

Poly - lagoon view with castle and fireworks

BWI - waterview, high floor, view of Y&B (dying to stay there at that point) & Epcot

AKL - 3rd floor on Giraffe trail....at least 6 giraffe every night and day. Kids could NOT get me off that balcony!

PORS - waterview, felt like Scarlett

I LOVE DISNEY SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D :D :D :D :D

WL Woodsview, 5th floor. A pond below had Otters in the moring, Ducks Swimming in the eveining and Rabbits feeding nearby.
At night we could watch the colors change on theCastle and watch the fireworks sitting on the balcony.

Our's was a studio at the Boardwalk Villas. We stayed in the "Crest of the Wave" section on the 5th floor, overlooking the Boardwalk. Great views of Epcot & the Boardwalk area day & night!

AKL-2 bedroom suite with 2 balconies-2 different savanna locations!

I have really enjoyed reading all the responses on this thread. I'll chime in with mine...
Of course I believe any time WDW is outside your window, it's a good view!
Having said that, I'd have to go with Castle view from Tahiti at the Poly. The castle changes color all night. Wow, made it hard to go to sleep, I just wanted to watch it all night. But the best was the first night watching the fireworks from the room and my 6 year old son thanking me for getting a room facing the castle.
Talk about priceless.....

Tammy

Castle view from the 11th floor of the Contemporary. :D

Our best view was at the AKL, a savannah view. We loved watching the giraffes and all the animals. That was the best. We had a nice view at CBR also. It was a water view and with all the flowers and trees it was beautiful. CBR has very nice landscaping.
