My DS will be 11.5 months old during our March trip, and I'm really curious about which rides and attractions will be his favorite. I'd like to know what everyone else experienced, so I don't overlook an unexpected gem. (Kinda like when they surprised you b/c they prefer to play with wrapping paper and a box instead of the real present.) I know all kids are different, but I'd love to hear what your child's favorite ride and/or attraction was. :)

ETA: We'll be in MK for 2.5 days, Epcot for 1 day, & AK for 1 day. THANKS!!

We just finished an 8 day trip with our 15 month old. His favorite rides were it's a small world and the flying rides (dumbo and triceratops spin). But he actually really seemed to enjoy every ride, even ones like living with the land. He liked looking around at everything. I tried everything he could ride/see and was surprised he enjoyed things like Fantasmic and Haunted mansion. Loud noises did not scare him, but I'm sure every kid is different.

Both of my girls as babies love the haunted mansion. They also liked peter pan and small world. Not so much dumbo.

Thanks for sharing what your LOs enjoyed! Haunted Mansion was one that I hadn't really considered, but (now that I'm thinking of it) it has so many elements that babies love to look at! He loves water, so I'm super curious about whether he'll like Living with the Land...he'll actually maybe fall aleep during that ride b/c water soothes him, lol. I'm also curious about his reaction to Dumbo. I think he's going to love Small World and (my favorite) Peter Pan. I'm bringing a change of clothes & swim diaper for the splash pad near Casey Jr., but I won't really know if he's ready for that until our trip is closer. Thanks a bunch for giving me great stuff to think about! I'm so flippin' excited about this trip!!

At 11 months our son loved:

Magic Kingdom: Dumbo and the MK Railroad

Epcot: Nemo and Journey into Imagination

Animal Kingdom: Triceratops Spin and the Safari

We also got his first haircut at Harmony Barber Shop at MK, so fun. I hope you have a great trip!

At almost 13mo ds's favorites were Buzz, IASW, Nemo, the fish tanks outside of Nemo, riding any boat, the parades and interacting with the characters. He seemed to enjoy just about any ride except the Haunted Mansion, he was seriously scared on that one.

At 9 mo. our daughter seemed to really enjoy Dumbo, Small World, Nemo, the Disney Jr. Show, and the Safari.

Thanks again for the great responses!! HM seems to be hit-or-miss, so I'm super curious about what his reaction will be. I'm going to ask if we can skip the pre-show for this one just in case he gets spooked during that part (or if people start shrieking when the lights go out.) I also scheduled his first haircut at exactly 180 days and I'm hoping that will be a lot of fun. He doesn't have a lot of hair right now, so it might literally be "a hair cut," as in cutting only one hair, but I want the darn picture and hat, haha.

Our DD was also 11.5 months old her first trip. Highlights were small world, Winnie the Pooh, carousel, dumbo, Peter Pan, basically all of fantasy land. We spent a lot of time in the pool and a pic from Chef Mickeys with Donald from that trip is still one of my all time fav's. Have fun!!!

Our 15 months olds loved under the sea... Especially the line with Scuttle.,, they really fell in love with him ;). Small world was a big hit we went several times. But really they did great on lots and lots.

My 15 month old loves all the characters and most of the shows. She doesn't like any ride with a dip. Small World and the Little Mermaid ride are favorites.

My ODD was mesmerized by IASW when she was 11 months old.

Much to my chagrin...Small World:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Followed closely by Peter Pan, Winnie the Poo and The People Mover.:rotfl2:

As a little guy my son liked everything - except Journey into Imagination. He wanted me to hold him during the ride and turned to look behind me (because babies don't always care about "look this way!") and towards the end there is this really big puff of air blown from behind you. It caught him in the face and startled him so badly it took us an hour - I kid you not, an hour - before he had calmed down again. And I can't blame him! I felt SO bad, but I hadn't ridden that in forever and forgot it was part of the ride. The indoor shows were a god send to get out of the hustle and bustle. :)
