OK - I realize that AP rates may not come out at all. Right now my reservation is at CBR and I would consider switching to BW or YC if the price were right. IF AP rates come out at all, what do you think they will be? What were they last year?

Hi again! BC/YC/BWI were $189 pre tax for standard room with an AP rate. AKL SAVANNAH view was $169 in 2002 reg season ...this year the best I could do was $215!! The Poly GV was $184 also. I was really hoping to have an AP rate for these three and have a choice with a more affordable rate. Not to whine by Universal discounts their hotels in the beginning of the year (so no waiting) and they are 50% off with many different programs as well as offering front of the line access. I just can't imagine paying over $200 a night for a hotel in Disney considering the price of tix and food on top of that. Plus (nobodies fault but ours :)) we need 2 rooms because there are 6 of us. We could have stayed in 2 rooms at Universals HRH for $250 total!! With FOTL access!! I think we will be doing that next vacation. Disney missed out on 12 nights 2 rooms of our vacation money because of their rates this June (24 rooms total). I really hope you can find the discounts you need. Keep checking for the S/D on hotwire they may release more...let me know if you get it! Otherwise I'm sure you'll be thrilled with CBR!

spoisal - we are going this May, and I've inquired numerous times recently about AP rates, and have been told by a CM that they don't anticipate any coming out for the month of May, because there are so many other "comparable" discounts available [I guess some of this relates to how many ressies they have booked, etc.]. Other posters have indicated that they think the next batch of AP rates will come out in the next edition of mickey monitor (which is unreliable getting to us, so I always just call the CRO and ask).

For our may trip, i asked about YC, and the best they could do with a code was about $250/nt including tax.

Have fun - wherever you stay! :D
