Well, we'd get a lecture about being ungrateful, how he was a lonely old man...on and on...maybe we should just go home, etc. Years later we found out that the old man gave popcorn balls to the kids, but cold beer to the Dads. Lonely old man, my butt.![]()

Deb & Bill said:Okay, everyone box up those peanut butter kisses (black and orange paper), tootsie rolls, Necco wafers, candy corn, Bullseyes (caramel with white center), Mary Janes and SEND THEM TO ME!! Those have got to be the best collection of Halloween candies ever.
You can have all my Shock Tarts, Sweet tarts, Nerds and such.
P.S. Don't send the popcorn balls, though. You can have those.

Mary Janes are peanut butter taffy (kinda) with peanut pieces in it. A Dentist's Dream candy.![]()

Deb & Bill said:Nope, Mary Janes do not come in orange and black wrappers. They come in yellow, red and black wrappers and have Mary Jane on the wrapper. They are flat and rectangular with peanut butter in the center. Kisses are lopsided hunks of peanut butter taffy with peanut butter in the center. And they are wrapped in orange or black waxed paper. Mary Janes tend to be a little harder than kisses.
Send them to me, I adore Good and Plenty.
