What was the weirdest Occupation you wanted as a kid?

i wanted to be a professional ballerina even though i never took dance and have the grace of a moose. no a dead moose. i also wanted to marry goofy. that's not exactly a profession, but it's a little weird!

All I ever wanted to be while I was growing up was a jockey. LOL no clue why except I loved horses.

I wanted to be a disc jockey.

and yes, themepark, I remember it. Not too clearly, but I do remember :)

Lori P. :)

I wanted to be a dentist. Yes, I was the weirdest kid ever. :teeth:

Great thread. When I was in 7th grade, we had a class in Careers and I was in a silly stage of my life and did a report on being a "Pretzel twister".

I wanted to be a lawyer when I was 5....Kind of fitting that I'm majoring in Paralegal Studies right now....

Well I always wanted to be just like my dad when I was younger, so I always wanted to be a chemist just like him. Of course I came to realize that I don't even like science, and that math is my subject.

I was a freak, because, from the age of 7 until college, I FILLED my notebooks with houseplans. I drew house after house after house after house. My parents just knew that I would be an architect, but here I am a nurse. What happened?!

You know, it's never too late...

When I was very small, I wanted to be on The New Zoo Revue. Does anyone remember that show?

I LOVED that show!! Henrietta Hippo was my favorite!

"It's the New Zoo Revue...coming right at you"

Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

I didn't want to be anything unusual--but my DS (8) wants to be a chef at a Japanese Steakhouse when he grows up

I wanted to be a watchmaker. I had an uncle who worked for Bulova, and I just thought it was a neat job. Lucky for me I grew out of it. Not much of a living today in that field! He was laid off after many, many years due to low demand.

When DD was about 3, she decided that McDonald's really needed someone to help little kids off the slide in the play area. She'd always tell me, "When I grow up, I'm going to explain to McDonald's that they really need a slide girl and make them hire me."

Now that she's 13, I love to tease her about this every time we go to MickeyD's!

When twin DDs were about 4 or 5, they were asked what they wanted to be when the grew up. DD #1 replied doctor, DD#2 said A LION:confused: :earseek:  :scratchin

When I was 7 years old I thought the coolest job in the whole world was being a cashier at Mc Donalds  :teeth: I did my bit at Burger King and it was NOT as cool and glamorous as I thought!

When I was a kid I won't to be a computer science. Guess what i went to college and go the degree in Information Systems End User Support.

I want to be a weatherwoman. I love to look at the weather channel.
