What was the theme of your childhood bedroom?

None, really. We moved several times (same town) and I don't remember ever really doing a unified theme. I did have canopied bed, though, and I think one room had butterfly wallpaper.

The theme was ‘Share with your brothers’…until my 3rd (of 4 total) was too big for a crib and then it was ‘Share with your sister’…first older - then younger…

No set theme. I was young when I got my own room. I don’t know if I picked the color yellow or my parents but it got painted. I put a lot of posters on my wall and pictures taken out of teen beat and tiger beat magazine.

My dresser had shelves on it so I also had a lot of knickknacks.

I really wanted to canopy bed. 😂 My best friend had one and I remember looking in the catalogues hoping I would get one. My sister is quite a bit older than me and has moved out so I got her set. My brother had one of the highter captains bed with drawers underneath.

My Mom used to say that my childhood bedroom was "Pee Wee's Playhouse" themed, but really it was just totally 80's. I had bright yellow walls, turquoise blue trim and curtains that were white with a colorful pattern.

The only things I recall from when I was real young was a baseball themed bedspread, tan with bases and a large player swinging a bat, and that the wallpaper depicted farms.

Interestingly when I was in high school and working for a family in town, they inherited a dresser and the drawer liner was that same farm pattern.

The theme was "green paneling". That was for my sister and myself. My brothers had blue paneling.

Not a lot of input...we got whatever my parents decided on. It certainly saved my father having to repaint every few years.

I did not have a "theme" to speak of, however I remember that I had sheets like this:

I also remember having a framed picture of this... thankfully I am pretty sure it is still in the attic of my dad's house.
