What was the longest time you stood in line?

This thread is cracking me up. We might need to cross reference it to the "you might be a Disney addict if..." thread.
The casual Disney vistors I talk to tell many, many stories of many, many hour long plus waits. Pretty much everyone in this thread that had a wait time longer than 25 minutes felt that they had to explain why on earth they would do such a thing. :lmao:
Knowledge truly is power, I'm so glad I found the Dis before my recent trip. i'd much rather be in the "you waited how long?!?" group. :teeth:

It's really funny that we all provided explanations isn't it, because I routinely wait longer for rides in other parks...like Busch Gardens and Kings Dominion. I have waited much longer for much shorter rides...like Hypersonic XLC at King's Dominion. And when Top Thrill Dragster opened, the waits were routinely over FOUR hours (I haven't been yet, but people were recommending a whole day at Cedar Point just to wait in line for TTD alone.) I consider Disney a place where the lines are comparatively short compared to some of these other places.

Once my ex-g/f waited in line for Test Track for 90 minutes. Finally she got into the room where they do the spiel and when she got out, the ride had broke down indefinitely. She was there for about a half hour longer before she left in a tiny fit of rage. That must've been a horror!

2 hrs. 15 mins at Splash Mt. It was my first trip to WDW, '99, I had no idea what I was doing. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon, my mom waited on a bench for us. She thought we were dead!!! Amazing the things you do when you are totally clueless....going to Splash Mt at 2:00 and then waiting for over 2 hrs....yeah right...that won't happen again!!!

About 60 minutes. Once for Soarin' (Actually, that ended up being longer than 60 minutes because our row broke down and they had to move us and we waited for the next flight) and once for Tower of Terror (July. Heat. Not pretty. but the only thing on our agenda was ToT and RnR. 60 min waits for each. Got a fastpass for RnR and waited in line for ToT.)

We waited over 2 1/2 hours for Everest. It was the longest, but best wait ever! We were invited to go to the CM preview and after waiting in line for a good hour the ride went down. We waited for probably an hour and a half, only moving when people ahead of us got out of line. When it eventually started back up it didn't take too long to get to the front of the line--probably 15 minutes. It was our only chance to go and we were just happy to be there.
