What was the last film (movie) you watched?

We very rarely go to see a film (movie) but we do own loads of videos of them.

I tried to watch Pirates of the Caribbean on the plane back in December, but I hate those headphones they give you as mine always have a tendency to fall off!

I just loved Jack Sparrow - he was so funny! :smooth: pirate:

I think the film we saw before that was Shrek - the original! :p

Edited as I posted earplugs and it should be headphones!

We watched Gangs of New York 2 nights ago.

It was ok.

Kill Bill watched it about two weeks ago

Shrek 2 last week. Princess Bride last night on TV

In a theater?

On a totally spontaneous whim, Cheaper By the Dozen.

Before that, though, the most recent was Disney's Atlantis.

And before that, Disney's Fantasia 2000 at IMAX.

You'd be surprised to hear I've only seen one of those movies, Flaps.;)

I think Cheaper By the Dozen was the last movie I saw in a theater. I watched POTC the other night at home though.

The first Harry Potter on t.v. a couple of weeks ago.

I need to watch the first Shrek so it will be fresh in my mind when we go to see Shrek 2. :sunny:

Saw A Beautiful Mind last night on TV. Really enjoyed it.
In a theater, saw Cheaper by the Dozen, it was ok.
Last rental, was Master and Commander - liked what i saw, but was tired and feel asleep!

I saw Shrek 2 last Friday.
But before that - the last movie I saw in a theater was Austin Powers 3 - Goldmember - what TWO summers ago?

yeah - we don't do movies much - but I plan on seeing Shrek 2 again (with DH) Harry Potter at least twice (once alone, once with DH) and then "Meet the Fockers" in December.

We went to the drive in a couple weeks ago and watched Van Helsing and Along came Polly.

We go to the movies a lot--both my mom and DD are always dragging me there. My mom wanted to see Man on Fire with Denzel Washington so I saw that over Mother's Day weekend. It was good but way too gorey for my taste. DH and Mom loved it, though!

At home, I watched In America. This was an EXCELLENT movie--I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it yet. I was crying like a baby at the end but it's very uplifting.

Troy on Sunday at the theater.
The Monster Maker on DVD.

We go to the theater every weekend.......and own LOTS of movies too.

The Alamo (2004)

Enjoyed it. Billy Bob Thorton was superb as Davy Crockett.

Godsend. A strange show about a family who looses their child and gets him cloned - with less than pleasant results.

Last movie I saw in a theatre was last Sunday, which was Shrek II. Soooooo funny, we all give it 2 thumbs up.

The last thing I saw on DVD was also last Sunday, but it wasn't really a movie, it was Sex and the City, Season Six. I had a Sex and the City marathon this weekend. :p

The last movie that really is a movie that I watched on DVD was Sliding Doors. Its a movie that has been out awhile, but somehow I never saw it. I really enjoyed it.

Last night DH and I watched The Last Samurai on DVD - very good movie. Ken Watanabe was amazing.

On Saturday night my cousin and I saw at 9:50pm showing of Troy. It was nearly 1am when it let out:o Best thing about the movie were naked Brad Pitt and Orlando Bloom with a bow and arrow - made me think of him as Legolas on TLOTR.

Acutally Eric Bana was very good as Hector.

We saw Shrek II last week in the theater, and my daughters have been watching Harry Potter 2 at least 3 times a day on DVD. I know every line...

They have even started to act out the movie and say the lines along with the actors! I will walk into the room, and my youngest will be on the floor pretending she is in the chamber of secrets and has passed out! UGH! When will they go back to school!
