What Was The FIRST On-Site Resort You Stayed At?

Contemporary -- probably 1975 or so. I was in 3rd grade. We were in the part that the monorail runs through.

Dixie Landings... I loved it!

Me too March 1996, DH and thought it was amazing and we were hooked!

Went back to WDW every year since and always stayed on prop. (sometimes a few times a year.)

I miss DL, PORS doesn't have the same ring or romance to it.

The Polynesian was... not much to choose from in 1983. The year before that we stayed onsite, but in a camper at Ft. Wilderness :)

It was called Dixie Landing at the time and I loved staying on site so much that we bought DVC the day we left. We also own at Vistana and had never stayed on site before that. It was back in 2000.

The Polynesian in 1983 and then we stayed there the following two years too. I'm glad that we did because we really enjoyed and this resort is way too expensive nowadays.

Dixie Landings - 1994. It was amazing. I got the bug on the trip! My girls were in heaven with the curving staircases and the mill. We've never been back there to stay, but love to visit. What a great memory!

We stayed at the Contemporary way back when I was really young....mid '70s I think.

First time DW and I stayed on-site together was at the Dolphin.

1993 Carribean Beach - it was our first trip and at the second we got on resort we knew it was going to be magical!!!

in 1981-The Treehouse Villas

they just them down to build Saratoga Springs

Carribean Beach Resort. It made me fall in love with Disney. Won't stay off property again.
