Following on from my other thread...

I went to Disneyland, Ca. in the early 80's, not sure of the exact year. :sunny:

Disneyland in 1972. I was 11yo and went with my sister and her family. I've since gone to WDW several times with her (and other times without her).

WDW Magic Kingdom when I was a few months old, not that I remember any of it, but I have alot of nice pictures.. :cool1:

I went to Disneyland the day after Thanksgiving 2001...I was 35 years old and I felt like a little kid all over again!!! LOVED IT...but it was SOOO crowded that I barely got to see half the park.. :guilty:

And we just got back from our first trip to WDW! Wow!! That was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!!! :Pinkbounc

MK in 1973, it was the only park at the time :goodvibes (not counting DL)

me too...I was born in 1973 and I was 6 months old when my parents first took me to MK.. It was the only park in Florida.. :goodvibes

MK in 1972 - the only park available. ;)

But I do recall that the Cypress Gardens leg of the trip was a big yawn after doing MK first. :teeth:

Disneyland in 1965. It is still my favorite of all the parks (WDW, DLP, DLT). I'll be returning for a long weekend at the end of next month and I can't wait!!!

MK in 1981 - I was 4, and they were having the 10 year aniversary celebration. It was me, Mom, Dad, and my sister...and my most vivid memory is of not being able to find get to the bathroom in time... ...also of Jiminy Cricket dancing with me in Fantasy Land...everyone seemed to think it was cute, I was embarrassed, though!

MK in 1982. Epcot wasn't open yet, but we were able to go there and see a preview of the park. We kids thought it was going to be BORING.

Magic Kingdom in 1977 when I was 11. We took our first trip to Florida that summer and I remember how I thought it was the hottest weather I'd ever felt! I did love the Magic Kingdom though. And Daytona Beach was fun.

MK in December of '71. My parents drove us up from my grandparents' winter home in Osprey, FL. Still have the pictures from that trip!

Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World back in 1976 when it was the ONLY Disney park in Florida!

In 1976 I went to WDW for the first time.

Tigger & Belle - we were there the same year!

I was in 4th grade, well actually we flew out the afternoon
of the last day of school, in 1972.
My dad was an amateur golfer who did pretty well
with the local pros, he won a trip to CA to play
at Pebble Beach.
He & my mom were going to go by themselves,
but when we heard them whispering downstairs
about "touring CA" my DSis and I (she is 5 years older)
got a little upset, especially when they mentioned Disney Land.
So, we got fitted into the budget (we weren't included in the prize),
and we had a blast!

DH was 13 in 1975 and went to MK for a few days, the whole trip including airfare was about 600.00, family of 5, 3 kids and two parents. This was 4 days in the Poly!

I was 28 in 1992 and went to EPCOT for 2 hours. That was wierd. We walked in went to Italy and then left. I didn't go back to Epcot for 13 years. We spent 2 days there this past July, it is my favorite now.
