What was the first concert you went to?

Having been woken up by DD this morning, bounding with excitement over having got Jonas Brothers tickets, it took me back to the first concert I went to as a teenager - AC/DC.

So, what was the first concert you went to?

I was deperate to go to an Osmonds concert in my younger teens but was not allowed. Saw Three Degrees at a nightclub in my late teens - does that count? God, showing my age here!

I was 9 years old and it was her first ever tour in the uk, me and my friend had matching t-shirts made and had the open top straw hats like on her album cover with ra-ra skirts like in her locomotion video, we thought we were so coolMy grandad and her dad took us and I think they enjoyed the eye candy as much as we enjoyed bopping around

Mine was The Rasmus at Northumbria Students Union, closely followed by The Human League at the same place a few weeks later... I was 16... Doesn't feel that long ago (But is an unreal 5 years ago now!)...

My first concert was Peter Andre in a big German Nightclub called PC 69 about 13 years ago I loved him! Lucy now thinks i'm so cool as she loves Katie and Peter and shes only 7

I loved Bros too. I used to wear the grolsch caps too. So funny to look back on now!

I can't remember which was first but in the space of a few months I saw MC Hammer at Wembley & the Knebworth '90 concert which included:
Pink Floyd, Cliff Richard & The Shadows, Tears for Fears, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Ray Cooper, Robert Plant, Status Quo & Phil Collins with Genesis.

Mine was a Northern Soul party at the old Ally Pally in London. Cannot remember who was on as it was soooo long ago - 30 years or so. OMG I'm so old!

I went to see Adam and the Ants at the Apollo Theatre in Manchester.
I was about 14 at the time, myself and a group of friends dressed up in our frilly shirts and pantaloons and painted a white stripe across our faces
