How can I find out what type of veranda room 10098 has? I know it's a category 4a but I'm not sure if that tells me how big the veranda is. We booked with a great discount that unfortunately only allowed us to book GTY. We knew it's a little bit of a gamble and you have to suck it up and be happy with whatever you get. But everything I've read about that room is that it's horribly noisy! Every review I've read says the same thing over and over. You can hear people dragging pool chairs all day long. And it's from 7 AM to midnight.

We sailed in 10078 (10 staterooms forward of 10098). It wasn't bad. In the morning there was some chair/lounge dragging, but it was usually when I was in the shower. At night there was some noise as well, but not enough to keep me (or the family) from sleep. FWIW

Disney Fantasy - 10098
4A - Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah
This midship. We are in the same category stateroom on the Magic for our cruise.

All the cat 4 deluxe family oceanview staterooms with Verandah are the same size (different however on Classic vs Dream class, u can check on DCLs website ,but I see u r referring to Dream class). The A, B or C designation indicates where (mid, for, aft or higher or lower decks) they are located. 4C might be on deck 7 aft, while 4A could be deck 10 mid. 4B could be deck 8 forward. Just how Disney determines the desirability of the location of the cabin. Many people do not necessarily agree with Disney's desirability letter designation, perhaps as in your example.
