When Samantha Brown was at WL, she had a room with a seperate sleeping area behind French Doors, and (I think) a fold out couch. Anyone know what kind of room that was and how much they cost? Oh, and did it have a mini-fridge and coffee maker?

I recorded that episode! We are staying there in a few weeks!!

She said she had a "deluxe room" but didn't phrase it as a "suite." Not sure why. It did have a mini fridge and a coffee maker.

I think it used to be called a jr. suite. May have a different name now. Did have mini fridge.

We just got back from one of those very rooms!! It is considered a "deluxe room". It was perfect for us but it is not discounted at all because there aren't that many of them. It runs for about 400 per night with tax and such. It has a "sitting room" with a wet bar, sleeper sofa, table w/2 chairs, 2 "living room" chairs, a refrigerator, and coffee maker. There is also a TV in the sitting area and one in the bedroom.

We liked it so that we could put the 3 yo down for a nap or bedtime and still have an adult area.

I agree with CrzyforPiglet ~ it is a fabulous room! The sitting area was especially nice because we were able to watch tv and carry on a conversation while our daughter slept in the other room.

Even though I haven't stayed there yet(will be later this year) my daughter and I watched the show when it was on so I could show her where we would be staying and now she calls it the "Samantha" hotel.
I would love to stay in one of those rooms but the cost and the fact my kids are demanding(even though I told them they are not guaranteed) the bunks. Can't wait ,Can't wait.

CrzyforPiglet, this has nothing to do with this thread but just noticed your from Dearborn. I work for a doctor there on the corner of Monroe & Military. It's fun to see there are other Disney lovers close to home.:D

minnieandmickey, your kids will LOVE the bunk beds! We've stayed at WL more times than you can imagine, and the BB rooms always turn out to be a family favorite :)

Speaking of Samantha and the WL show...

did ya'll see the guy in the WCCafe ask for the ketchup and then look kinda "mad" because the waiter was standing beside him hollering for 'KETCHUP...NEED KETCHUP" and they brought like 10 bottles??????

That guest did not look very happy or amused!! THAT WAS JUST SO FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess he didnt know about the WCCafe!!!!!!! LOL

:p :p :bounce: :p :bounce: :p

Be warned...I went to Whispering Canyon for lunch earlier this month and THEY HAD KETCHUP ON ALL THE TABLES! Oh, the horror! They did away with the maple garlic barbecue sauce, too. But I did have a very tasty chicken quesadilla which I'd have again.
