What type of laundry detergent do you use?

Curious if you have a favorite laundry detergent you like to use? Or do you buy whatever is on sale? I know I prefer to use Tide. Some people say they don't see a difference in detergents. Some friends only use a particular brand. I think some are better than others. What's your opinion and what brand do you like to use?

we get Arm and Hammer with no scent or perfumes or dyes and

Downy that is scent free........we do fine

I use Kirkland brand liquid from Costco. I also put a scoop of baking soda in with every load (it really helps deodorize my stinky gym clothes) and a Shout Color Catcher sheet with non-white loads. The whites get some bleach.

Anything but Tide, it gives me a rash. I actually prefer the cheap brands.

All Free & Clear. I cannot have any detergents with fragrance...I break out in massive itchies (but no rash though). We happen to like all, but I will use anything I can find that is "free & clear".

Started using bounce again---found out they made a frangrance and dye free version. Though I can still smell it LOL!

Tide is about the only thing that everyone in the family can tolerate without breaking out.

I am allergic to Downy but I like the way it makes clothes smell.

I use Purex. CHeaper
But I spend my money on DOWNY original only though

Purex Free and Clear for us due to allergy issues.

No TIDE for me... I will itch and itch and itch. I can always tell when we go to someone else's house or on vacation and they use it, because I'm miserable.

I used Cheer for years, but recently switched to the tropical bloom scented Gain. I like the smell better, but it's definitely not cheap.

I Tide deep clean in our house
no body breaks out from it and I love the way it smells

Era here too. Works well and is fairly cheap.
Downey all the way for fabric softner.

Use Era here too! I like it 'cause it's only $11 at Sam's Club for a great big jug. If it's not Era we use the Arm & Hammer liquid. Tide doesn't seem to work well in our water.

Tide or Sunlight. :sunny: 2 that I know won't give me the itchies.
