I just bought fans for my DD (3.5) and DS (6.5). They have straps to wear around neck. They are 02 Cool. Battery operated.

My DH then saw one that kind of looked like a water with fan attached. Fan -battery operated. Fan - pump.

What do you think is best. I am leaning more towards the one without the water because it is larger and the other is smaller that they could keep around their neck.

I don't know since we haven't been disney in 10 year and didn't have kids then.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi there! It's funny you ask. Just last night I was at the food store and bought the O2 Cool ones that look like a spray bottle with fan on top. Too big for around your neck but the kids could hold them while on line or just to throw in the bottom of the stroller until ready to use. It also has a wide mouth opening for ice which I will definitely throw in when I can (maybe order ice water at meal times and filler up!) Personally, I just thought the kids would already have their pin lanyards on and I didn't want another thing hanging around their necks. My boys especially would probably swing them around at each other and end up breaking them. I got three different colors so they could remember whose is whose and I got 3 of the 4 left on the shelf. They were $9 each but I heard that the mister fans in Disney run closer to $20 so I hope I'm saving some money. The kids loved them when they saw them - especially the spray feature. Good luck with your decision!

I forgot to mention that I did not get my DD (2.5) one of these b/c I thought it would be too big for her. I want to get her a clip on fan for her stroller. So, if anyone knows a good clip on stroller fan, please let me know! Besides, I thought her older brothers and sister would be spraying her and lending her theirs while they're on rides.

I must admit, as nice as the fans are that you can carry around your neck, they get heavy and hot and annoying... they rub against sweaty necks, get in the way when you are getting on and off rides.. sorry to sound so negative! ;)

This trip we have the little O2 Cool fans that clip on a belt loop... I'm not really certain how great these will be, as the water reservoir looks big enough for maybe two squirts. :lmao: But, the bigger bottles just really annoyed us after the last two trips that we thought we'd try this and see how we do!

I don't think I'd want to carry anything around my neck at Disney. But, if you have a stroller, I'd go for the water bottles with the fans attached. Those things feel like a little piece of Heaven on a hot day!! Just throw them in the stoller when you're not using them (like someone else already said).

I got these from Walmart.... about $5.. they hold water and are small enough to clip on belt or strap. I think it takes 1 AA battery, and holds water. Obviously not a huge amount of water, but enough...
I would think the bottles that hold a huge amount of water at some point would get warm..

These are the ones I bought at Sports Authority. Hoping they are good enough! We are past our "stroller days", so we have to lug things ourselves. ;)

My granddaughter bought one at Disney 3 years ago, and the deal was, she had to carry it...it was great, she never complained and she wore it everyday...it was a blessing for both of us,as she thought it was great spraying me...I am taking her and my sister's grandson this August and they both have them...I did by myself a O2 little one(amazing Wal-Mart finally had them) the other day so we are all set for the heat:)
