I love music from the 80's, probably because I was 16 in 1985, I love listening to music from then, it brings back memories of dating, cruising up and down the blvd.,and high school football games. What's your Fav?

I don't like alternative, metal, rap, or old country. But I can handle just about anything else.

I like the top 40, pop. 70's, 80's and 90's too. I like some of the new country, I can even handle some classical and some opera.

80's, Reggae, Ska, alternative, and punk.
Alot of music is combo of some of these. I see a strong relation between alternative and punk, between reggae and ska, ska and punk.
I don't normally like rap/hip hop but when they have a reggae sound/beat I like them. Some reggae has rap elements to it.
Anybody have any band suggestions for these types of music. I am always looking for fresh sounds.

Oh and beach style music. I love Jimmy Buffett and the Beach Boys.

I like oldies from the 50's and 60's. And the newer country stuff, not the old time twangy kind. I like soft rock of today also.

I like a lot of different kinds of music, depending on my mood and all. Most of what I listen to on a daily basis is oldies (50's & 60's), big band and older pop. I like country, but not all country.

I have played in many types of bands and currently in a concert band, a swing band, and a jazz band, so I am comfortable with many different types of music.

I do not like rap or hard rock (metal?) and a little blue grass goes a long way even though I had a lot of fun playing in country bands some years ago.

Disney music is always okay, especially when at WDW!

I too like the 80's music, and I too love Disco LOL!!! I used to have many DJ Friends and have many tapes that I still listen too.

I too love music from the '80s. Also I love rock music (Stone Temple Pilots, Everclear Red Hot Chillli Peppers, Pearl Jam etc)
I also love bands that dont seem to quite fit in to that category like Cake and Weezer. Then theres bands that are/ used to be called pop/ punk like Blink 182 and Greenday (I also consider bands like Sprung Monkey and Sublime in this category) Last but not least, I have a severe weakness for a couple of unusual classics (every once in a while I have to get a fix of The Clash or Queen). The weirdest thing about my taste in music, is that when a member of one of my absolute favorite bands dies of less than natural causes, (INXS, Nirvana) I cant enjoy their music anymore.

My Dh listens to anything. He likes classic rock and country, he likes current rock/ metal like Godsmack, and Linkin Park. Also rap and hip hop. His fave though, may be glam rok/ metal like Mottley Crue, Skid Row, and Poison. Like me he has a waekness for classics, his fave of those is Kiss (he used to pretend to be Ace Freeley when he was a kid)
