What transfer paper is best?

I am new to this, and when i tried an experiment design, it looked great until it was washed. I followed the directions exactly as the directions said. The first set of transfer paper I just bought at Hobby Lobby. Is there a brand you recommend? I need both light and dark transfers. Thanks in advance.
