It looks like the little ships, for sale now, can run on a track. Does anyone know which track(s) they can run on?

The little ships for sale are just props, or furniture. They are room decorations and not part of a track.

The dark ride track will either have a caterpillar for Alice or the Peter Pan ship, but it's the start piece that determines the ride vehicle.

At the moment, the only ride start piece for the dark rides are Alice pieces.

if you put a river start down interupting the alice track you can change to a peter pan ship :)

However, if you use an everest start piece with alice track, you will get a Pan ship about 8 out of 10 times.

ETA: Okay, wrote that about an ago and it seems, never hit enter. LOL! Everest start works just like Aengus has shown with river start.

or, if you are cheap like me. When somebody is riding the alice, rotate 1 of the forwards before they get on it. Then quickly rotate it forward for them to ride onto it, and rotate it again so they're stuck on it. Then rotate it until a ship appears and it almost always works. Then rotate it so it matches up so they can continue the ride.

:flower3:

I am confused. When you click on the little ships, don't they show a grid for setting them up on ride pieces?

The grid is for Motion Actived Items. So if you set it up where someone walks in front, on the sides or behind the Item will move.

In the case of the little ships, you can use that grid to determine how far away a character needs to be to see the ship firing at them and rock side to side. Thing of it as a radar sensor. How many spaces away do you want people to be when the animation shows on their screen?

Thank you. I didn't realize that. :rotfl:
