What tour can you go "behind the scenes" at the Haunted Mansion

Hi Everyone,

I would like to do a tour next year while at WDW. I want to do one that takes me behind the scenes of the Haunted Mansion, but I can't tell which one does that.

Can someone help me?

I don't think any of the tours do that. A few years ago, they had some kind of special Haunted Mansion event that involved a tour I think. But I've never heard anyone say they went in the HM on any of the regular tours that I recall.

Agreed. I could not possibly go on such a tour, even if Disney paid me to. That attraction in particular would be ruined (a word I don't throw around very often) by a behind-the-scenes look. I don't ever want to have to evacuate that one.

There's a cast member only one but that is as far as I know the only one offered.

It doesn't ruin any of the magic, it gives one a better appreciation for the ride.

Keys to the Kingdom allows you access through a side entrance on some of their tours but nothing behind the scenes.

PP is right--the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour does take you somewhat behind the scenes of the HM.

The Haunted Mansion is haunted by real ghosts... so you just want to see it when no ones in the mansion?

This is correct We did the tour a couple of years ago and the HM portion was pretty substantial. Highly recommended for HM fans

My wife and I took the Keys to the Kingdom Tour this past January. The tour slips in a back door of the Haunted Mansion and the guide told our group many behind the "scenes" secrets. We thought it was a great tour lasting 7 hours.

This is how I feel and why I just can't do any of the tours. On my recent trip, I had split off form some of the group, and my friend said the PeopleMover took them into Space Mountain witht he lights on. SM was down earlier...but I think that would traumatize me to no end. I know it, but I just don't want to see it!

the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour!

We were able to see some behind the scenes workings of the HM. Didn't ruin the attraction for me one bit. In fact my love for the attraction grew even more because of the tour
