:confused3:confused3 We are going in December for the first time
Before I put all my summer clothes away what do I need to take with me
We normally wear shorts and T-shirts but what is the weather like in December
Do we need jeans trainers coats if anybody can give me an idea thank you

it's very unpredictable..
we've gone many times in december...
a few years it was mild enough to swim (not hot, but mild)...
but some years it was sooooooooooo cold, the kids were bundled up in snowsuits...
so the key is layers...

As above. During a 2 week December trip in 2010 we scraped ice off the car and needed coats, hats and gloves and also swam with the dolphins in (warm enough) sunshine. Wore everything from jeans, coat and gloves to shorts and a T shirt.

Thank you guys. We are going to New York before so needed clothes for the cold there but thought we would need a mixture. This is going to test my packing

yes, it's a challenge...
for new york, you really need to be bundled since it's very much a walking kind of town (we lived in manhattan for 3 years)...
and again, you need layers for new york as well....

as for orlando, DD and DSIL were there in early november two years ago...
it was so cold it caught them by surprise...
they ended up buying warm hats (to cover the ears - knitted hats - albeit cute disney hats), gloves, scarves, sweatshirts, etc...
they weren't the only ones to spend a fortune on warm clothing...
we'd been in early november before and while it wasn't hot, it wasn't so terribly cold....
but it was that time...
disney made a forture on all the clothes everyone had to buy!!!!!

I am going the middle of November and i am going to risk it and not pack gloves, hats etc.

4 years ago we went at the end of November and didn't take any 'winter' clothes, we was soo lucky cause we was still going in the pool to cool down. Although we did need a light jacket for the evenings, but that was perfect.

Fingers crossed for warmer weather. Love going in the fall/Christmas season :goodvibes
