At are some comfortable shoe ideas for walking around all day at MK? I'm thinking some sandal type sneakers for my little ones, but what's best for the adults? Going in mid summer, so would tennis shoes be too hot?

Thanks!

We went in November, but I still wore sandals because I hate socks. I alternated a pair of Merrell sandals and a pair of dressier Teva sandals. No blisters and they were comfortable for me. I would be sure to break in whatever you want to wear and make sure you can walk a long way without blisters.

Wear what you would wear at home. We just bought new shoes for our trip. We all needed new shoes regardless of our trip but it is a little over a month away and I refuse to wear new shoes on vacation. DH got a new pair of Vans. I got a new pair of flip flops. The brand is Cobian. Super comfy! And we bought DD (4yrs old) a new pair of flops with a heel stap from the Flip Flop Shop. Not sure on her brand. But they are what we plan to wear in the parks. We are also taking nightly walks after dinner in our new shoes to make sure we are used to walking distances in them. Did 2 and half miles the other night, DD included.

I always thought tennis shoes would be the most supportive and comfortable all day--wore them for many trips. Then DH and I walked till we dropped on our honeymoon and I got blisters and sore feet for the first time. Now I wear sandals. I got them at The Walking Store--they have and ankle strap so they're not loosey-goosey flip flops or anything like that. I got the Abeo brand that they do custom for that store--I swear by them.

Thanks to the Dis, my daughters and I wear Teva Mush Flip Flops at WDW. They're amazingly comfortable, nice and cushioned. You can get them at amazon and a lot of other places.

My husband and son still insist on sneakers.

Bernie mevs. Since the first day I wore them in a Disney park, I have not worn anything else. No blisters (I use Body Glide as well), and my feet aren't even tired anymore at the end of an open to close day.
