Have never been to Disney in Feb and just booked our trip from 2/5 to 2/12. Been there in Apr, Aug, Sept and Oct but never Feb. Should we pack shorts, long pants, tank tops, tees ? Help:laundy: :laundy:

The average daytime temps are in the low to mid 70's and the evenings are in the low to mid 50's. I would think layering is the way to go. I don't know what you're used to, but those are cool temps to me. :hippie: I'd pack jeans, socks, sweatshirt at the very minimum with t-shirts, polos, etc to layer. I may pack a pair of shorts if the temps hit the warmer side of 70. I've been to WDW when gloves, hat and coat were needed. That time of the year can be a real guess:confused3

Jan 27 thru the 31, 2 years ago never when without jeans and a sweatshirt.

Take everything. It can be very cool (40's) and quite warm and nice (70's or even 80). Go prepared with sweathirts, jackets, hats and gloves so you aren't scrambleing to buy warmer clothes in the gift shops. Every time we have gone in Dec. Jan. or Feb. we have had very cool evenings where we almost froze at the nighttime fireworks.

I'd say jeans and t-shirts with sweat shirts for mornings and evenings.

I was there this past February...in the beginning of the week it was chilly during the day, in the 50's. It was usually in the low 50's at night, but one night they had a frost warning! As the week went on, the days started off cool, but got up to low to mid 70's by lunch time. I usually wore capri jeans or khakis, short sleeve shirt, hoodie zip sweat shirt (which I tied around my waist by 10:00), short socks and sneakers. We swam almost every day (of course, being from N.E., it felt downright toasty!) The days were sunny, dry and gorgeous. You may want to bring a pair of shorts as well.

We will be there at the same time!
I am packing a little of everything, but even if its 55, that will be warm to us!

I love going in the beginning of Feb. Crowds are still relatively low and the temp is very pleasant.

We were there the second week last year and it was FREEZING. Yes, frost warnings and the like. We wore fleece, jeans and even hats and gloves! We're going back the same time this year and we'll pack our turtlenecks and gloves again - just in case.

We were there Feb 14-17 last year, coming from NC, but having lived in FL for 10 years, I packed both light jackets and heavy coats. While we were there we didnt have the need for more than a light jacket, we all wore jeans and short sleeved shirts w/light jackets and took them off as needed during the day. When we went back at night my daughter wore her snow white costume w/leggings and a t-shirt under and her light jacket, and we were all pretty much in the same things we wore during the day. The next day, however, my son was in shorts, lol. The temp can change so drastically. What I did was wait until I was a day out from leaving before packing, I checked the weather constantly.

Defiantely a bit of each. We went last March (the first week) and the first night I wore jeans and my warm leather winter coat. It was super cold. I wore shorts most of the days, but also wore sweat shirts wit hthem most of the days. As the week went on it got warmer and the day we elft was perfect, go figure. LOL! We had lots of fun though!

I'd recommend checking the Orlando forecast a few days before you go and then deciding what to do. Layers are always a good idea.

It's so hit or miss -- back in 2005, we went in October, usually "shorts and t-shirts" weather. But Hurricane Wilma went through on Day 2 of our trip, and it was unseasonably cool - too cool to even sit by the pool for more than 1/2 hour (canceled our plans for the water park)! Glad I had brought a little bit of everything. Great weather for touring the parks (no heat and humidity). I ended up in capris a lot, rather than shorts, and sweatshirts at night. You just never know.

Check the long-range forecast a few days ahead of time, and that should hellp you decide.

Wow, glad i read this thread. DW and I were talking about going in the jan-mar time frame! Didn't think about it getting THAT cold in Flordia!:scared1:

i didnt think it would be cold that time of year either. i live in texas where it is always hot. we really dont have a winter. anyway i am going the feb 21/25 and hope it isn't cold. we have been in sept and aug. and i will never do the summer again. it is just too hot and too crouded. i wonder how the crouds will be for that week.

I agree with most of the people here, I would pack jeans, capris and maybe one pair of shorts. And for tops I would T-shirts, a couple of long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts and maybe a fleece. I remember as a kid many many years ago being there in Dec after Christmas and wearing a coat.
