Can you give me some ideas of what to take to Disneyland for the day. It's been so long since we have been on vacation that I can't even think what to take in general. I guess they still don't permit you to bring any water or food in with you?

They do allow you to bring water in with you, and I recommend a water bottle, especially if you have younger children.

we were there last march and brought a sack lunch and snack in to the park with us and the people who checked our bag saw it and didn't say a word about it.
I would bring, Walkie talkies, camera, money, credit card, change of clothes at CA for my kids, gum, hats, sunscreen, water bottle, and a pen.

I'm glad I asked now, didn't realize you could bring your own water in. Has anyone else brought food in and they didn't say anything?
I can't think what the walkie talkies would be for.
Thanks for the ideas on what to bring.:sunny:

walkie talkies are a life savor in my family there are times when you get seperated and they make it much easier finding your group. Also I put one on my kids so if they ever get lost hopefully the person who finds them will know to turn them!

I have brought lunch in a backpack and water without being questioned. They don't want you to bring in big coolers or anything but, a discrete lunch is overlooked.

Great idea of the walkie talkies, I would have never thought of it.

I am going to bring some water and maybe some power bars with us then.

Thanks for the replies and help.
