Hey there!

We'll be at WDW for 5 days, and I **know** we won't be able to see it all. I was wondering if anyone could suggest things we may want to skip. And meals are out of the question!!

I was wondering what we might want to pass by in order to get more out of our vacation. There will be myself, my DH, and our DD9. Thanks in advance for your help! :cutie:

Definetly, your ride style will depend on what you could "cut out" this trip. If you don't like thrill rides, then some of the coasters and TOT could be cut out. I, for one, get motion sickness really easy. So for me I don't do Star Tours or Body Wars. But both are great rides, I just can't do simulators.

What types of things interest you and your family? What ride are you most excited about??

We just came back from our trip.

I would have skipped the Living Seas in Epcot

And skip the Muppet 3d movie. It's the most dullest one out of the four 3d. The others were great.

Hope this helps.

I agree with Liznboys. Instead of what to avoid, maybe concentrate on what to do for sure. When we took the whole family 2 summers ago, we had a guidebook, and I asked each child to pick one or two things that we absolutely didn't want to miss.

As long as we hit all of those, then we just enjoyed ourselves and let the Magic happen, so to speak, and did what we wanted as the opportunities came up. We enjoyed some things that we hadn't anticipated. For example, I think a lot of people see EPCOT as more 'adult' but my DD 8, loved that more than anything. She enjoyed all the live street performers, the woman who made taffy candy animals, etc. She is afraid of a lot of rides, but EPCOT was great for her.

Hope that helps, have a great trip! :sunny:

Allright, that's it. I'm going to Barnes tonight to see if I can get an Unofficial Guide! My husband's starting to get excited about it as it gets closer, so we'll probably be doing LOTS of research over the next few weeks :)

Thanks so much for the responses, I really appreciate it! My daughter's of the "chicken" variety, so we may end up passing on the thrill rides, though DH and I like 'em ;)

I suggest making three lists. "Must See", "Would be Nice to see", and "If we have the time." Then when you enter a park, start on your "must see" list. Once you are through that one, move to the next one

HOWEVER, don't become a "slave to the lists." Iff all of a sudden the family really wants to do something on the "If we have time" list, go for it! Let the magic happen as it will... :D

Our family usually makes a "gotta do" list. We hit these and our favorite food spots and everything else that we can fit in. You will be surprised at how much you can squeeze in if you take advantage of the FastPasses. Enjoy! ::MickeyMo
