What to put in a Surprise Box, need ideas!

We are surprising the kids for Christmas! A cruise in the spring during school vacation. I want to put things in a box for them to open that morning with things they could use or clues on where we are going? Need ideas!!!!!

Some things off the top of my head:

Beachbag
Sunglasses
Beach Towel
Boat-----Toy or something
Sunblock
Depending on the ages, perhaps Shovels, Pails
Disney Dollars
Scuba Gear, Masks, etc...
Swimsuits...

WOW! We are also surprising our DD with a cruise for Xmas!! She's a lucky kid!!! I can also use the ideas listed to create a surprise box for her. It will be hard to keep it a secret!! I am probably more excited than she will be! NOT

My MIL gave my wife and I a WDW trip for Christmas a few years ago. She wrapped a Disney ornament for us and then gave us a Disney bag filled with guide books and travel vouchers.

I know that they make ornaments of the Magic and/or Wonder. I don't know if they only sell those on the ships, but maybe you could find out and get those as part of the gift.

I'm surprising my DS6 in 10 days! I'll tell him when I sign him out from school the day we leave. Keeping the secret is sooooo hard! I plan to have a gift bag of treats waiting in the car for him. This thread helps!

Glow sticks for the pirate deck party, and pirate stuff (its expensive on the boat, obviously )

My DD loved a pack of post its notes, to leave requests for extra towel animals etc to the stateroom host. He was so cool he also wrote a note b ack to her too !


$1 for room service ................ this was her fav part of the cruise !
