Okay since we booked yesterday I have had a total mind freeze, I dont know where to start. What do I need to plan in advance?

where do I get mvmcp tickets from?

should I buy dining plan or not, argh so many things!!!!

So far we have booked the 14 day passes, so from here on in any help is very appreciated!!!!

I haven't been at that time of year but a couple of other DISer's have so I am sure they will be able to help.

Have you read some of the December Trip Reports to get some idea's?? A great place to start :)

Anna I am just dashing out and I'm late but I went last Xmas & can tell you all about MVMCP tickets etc - maybe check out my Trip Reports to get you started?

I'm sure someone else will come and help but I'll check this thread out later :)

I usually just plan where we are going to start each day. A good book to buy is The Brits Guide to Orlando which is filled with good tips. Its associated website askdaisy.net under park updates has a list of the parks giving their projected busiest days, average days and quietest days.

I work out an itinerary on the quietest days then also list other quiet parks to hop to.

I have never bothered with dining plans because we are not really into 'eating'. We tend to just have a Ponderosa breakfast to fill us up for the day then grab something wherever we are once we get hungry again.

Hi Anna,

Here's some MVMCP info. You can book dinner at the Liberty Tree Tavern at the same time as booking tickets for the party (even though it isn;t 90 days yet).

We really enjoyed the Candlelight Processional at Epcot and avoided queueing by pre-purchasing a meal package and having a lovely meal afterwards :)

The Osbourne lights were amazing, you must try and see them.

There were carol singers at DTD and Xmas music and decorations in all the parks which were superb. Some resorts in particular go to town on decorations (we loved the GF, WL, Poly decs especially)

We were unlucky I think but on a 23 night holiday there were only 3 or maybe 4 days where we could wear T Shirts and shorts and for at least 10 of the days it was downright cold (as in hats, coats, scarves weather) so do pack for all sorts of weather!

It should be very very quiet when you are going - we hardly queued for a thing for our first ten days (Dec 9th onwards) but the park hours will be short.

I can't help with park passes or dining plans I'm afraid :(

Cheers

Karen

thanx i am going to ring about the mvmcp tickets today

I have just upgraded our seats to sunshine premium, so I am happy with that, and I just booked the two day two park universal tickets (my dbf fave place)

Just noticed what a nose dive the dollar has taken lately, hope it goes back up past 1.80. for my shopping addiction

Ok onto more questions,

if thats ok?

should we take cases? or body bags (holdalls not actual body bags)
we are doing our christmas shopping over there so there will be some toyss packed on the return journey, plus i am dying to buy the new wdcc figment statue!

wheres the priority seating calculator?

thanx for any help
