Well 1 week tomorrow I will be on my way to Disney World! :cool1:

Flying out on my own on the 1pm Virgin flight out of Manchester (Got a seat in the bubble, in the middle of 3 so assume either other solo travellers or at least one might be a solo traveller!)

What I've done;

* Updated my API on Virgin
* Seat selections there and back & meal selections for the Veggie option (I eat meat but Im a bit wary when its plane food!)
* ETSA's dont expire until March 2015 so ok there.
* Currency ordered from Tesco, will collect today & FairFX card is topped up with majority!
* Insurance with AXA purchased & printed.
* Virgin E-Ticket printed & in folder with passport/insurance.
* Swapping GHD's with my friend this weekend as hers are new and will work out there.
* Borrowing a friends small hand luggage bag which I am packing in my main case on the way out, but then I should have enough room on my way back.

Ok can you think of anything I've forgotten to do?!

Now on to Packing! Will get most of it done this Sunday evening after my goddaughters 1st birthday party, as I then have 3 very busy days of work and sorting out the horse before I fly and I dont want to be stressed!

But what to pack! This is my second visit, my first visit last year was in May and it was HOT!

I've been checking the weather and it seems to be about 22-26c during the day, but 10-16c in the evening.

I don't want to pack lots of coats/jumpers and then completely not need them! I've bought a back pack (Palm tree print as its florida! :rotfl2:) so planned to pack in my lightweight rain mac in there in case it gets cold or rains! But is that warm enough? Should I be considering a thicker coat for evenings?

Otherwise I've got 5 and half working days to :banana:, a evening with friends, a evening with my parents and a 1st birthday party and then I am off! :dance3::dance3::dance3:

I've got more details on our plans in my PTR on the trip reports page if you want to know, and I think I might try for a live report if anyone wants Christmas updates! Esp. updates on my race against time to get to our MVMCP on my first night despite my plane not being due to land until 5pm :worship:

Better pack at least one sweater or sweatshirt the evening will be very cold. In the long range forecast the lows could be in the high 40 degrees which is COLD.

We always have a coat and some jeans/jumpers for November/December visits as it can and does get cold at night.

The key is to layer :thumbsup2

Yeah good plan! Figured I'd pack my rain coat & a pair of leggings in my back pack for when it gets chilly!

I can't wait now, it's so close! I keep watching videos on you tube & pictures on Instagram seeing all the Christmas dec's up! Looks fab!

You need to take a coat or a decent fleece. Bottom line is the weather may be highly variable day to day or between the middle if the day and evenings. Just taking leggings and a rain coat may well be wholly insufficient. I'd take a couple of sweatshirts and and couple of pairs of jeans at least. Just be happy if you don't need them :)

Sorry I wasn't clear, I am travelling in jeans and my boots/Coat & have set aside a hoodie, 2 jumpers (thick ones) and 2 cardigans for evenings (one thin one warm). I am also planning to pack a cropped pair of jeans, and pair jeggings in case it gets chilly :) Otherwise I am hopefuly for shorts and T-Shirt Weather :cool1:

^ looks as though you are good to go then :) I haven't been in November but have done December and the weather was frankly schizophrenic! We did shorts, swimming and coats and gloves all in the same trip!

Crikey! I hope it's not like that when I'm there, I'm a terrible whinge bag when I'm cold!

It was unusually cold several days we were there. I don't think it was normal. But the fact the temperature ranges is normal. Just not usually such a wide range!

I'm glad I saw this. We're leaving a week from tomorrow too and I've no clue what to pack.
