Our pediatrician said he doesn't like giving kids anything but if necessary Meclizine at half a tablet would be ok. They have never had aproblem. It's me who gets green before we leave port. I know use a wrist thingy that (using a battery) sends little pulses from your wrist up to your brain.

No, Sea-Bands don't have batteries. They are stretchy terry material with a hard plastic knob that puts pressure on a point in your wrist.They have a battery?? I always kind of assumed that it was just like a rubber bracelet....
We swear by Seabands and ginger pills! We have not experienced severe seas so this works for everyday cruises.
