What to get a 14 year old boy?

My nephew is almost 14 and sadly I dont know him nearly as well as I used to

I know he's into Skateboarding and he wants to be an aero space engineer and I have NO idea what to get him.

Usually I'm the " cool aunt" lol I always find something that he really wants. This year though I'm really stuck.

Any Ideas?

$$$$$$$$ and maybe a gift certificate to get some DVDs. Or gift certificate to a video store to get DVD,video or video game if he has something to play it on. Clothes wouldn't be too wise unless you knew exactly what he liked.

My 14 yo DS wants a gift certicate to Electronics Boutique. Also, he likes to go to movies, which are expensive, so you could get movie passes.

We picked my 14 year old nephew's name last year for Christmas, which had me running into Abercombie and Fitch to get a gift certificate. You would have thought I had three heads, I was the oldest person by about 20 years in that store. It was rather hilarious, actually. Its the first time I have felt like an old person.

So, if he is into fashion, that is the store to go to.

My nephew is now 16. I think when he was 14, that was the year I went to Giftcertificates.com for my sister's entire family. It's GREAT! They get to choose the store they want to purchase something from.

My son is 14, and I did all the typical stuff like video games, cloths, CDs etc. I wanted to give him something fun and a little special, so what I came up with is a remote control airplane. I think it will be a lot of fun!

I have a 14 yo son also and we got him a remote controled airplane also. He's getting a thing to hook up his playstation to the internet, some running clothes, a new jacket and one of those zip zaps.

One thing my kids enjoy is Magazine subscriptions. Boys like things like Computer gaming world or playstation magazines. He also likes Sports Illustrated for Kids.

I know I was thinking the Cash or gift certificates, clothes etc...but if he is anything like my Ds14 would he like to put together a model of something?...my DS had a rocket one and had a great time putting it together and blowing it off...just a thought!

I'd say money or gift certificates. Abercrombie and Fitch is a favorite for that age, or gift certificates to a place that they can rent video games/movies.
