My family loves Emeril's and were very excited about trying Tchoup Chop next month. The atmosphere sounds beautiful! However, I do have to admit that I was a bit disappointed when I read the menu. I had a couple problems with it. I can't eat anything with soy, and noone in my family particularly cares for Teriyaki sauce. :( On the up side, the dessert menu looks fabulous!!! Maybe, I could just go and make a meal of 3 or 4 desserts. ;) But seriously, what would you recommend for 2 adults (my DH can eat soy, but his palate is not quite as adventurous). There will also be a 15 and 11 yo. I hope you guys have some great suggestions, because I would really love to try this one. Thanks a bunch!

Don't forget they offer specials also...one night when we were there...my hubby had the most wonderful steak...plenty of things without soy.

We enjoy Tchoup Chop even more than we enjoy Emeril's and that is a lot. You gotta try it...I know you will enjoy the food...adn the atmosphere.

We had a fantastic meal there. The service , atmosphere and food were all wonderful. There are specials as has been said plus I would think if you asked for something but "hold the soy" they will be happy to accommodate you. I'd call and say you have a slight allergy to soy and is it possible to...... I'm certain it won't be a problem.

Get the crunchy shrimp appetizer. It's to die for,, you only get three shrimp tho, that's the only problem,, definately not enough to share :)

Also, have them make you a lemondrop-cherry martini. :)

The homemade dumpling box minus the soy dipping sauce.

The crunchy shrimp as mentioned is delicious.

They have some very nice "specials" that is what I ordered last time and it was called bronzed loin of pork. It was excellent. It was served with a demi glace over a pear risotto.

I'm sure if you discuss your dislikes with your waiter he can offer you suggestions! My husband had the grilled rib eye with garlic mashed potatoes and it was very good.

Okay now i am getting hungry! The desserts were delicious but I will especially make sure we get the chocolate covered strawberries again!

Hope you enjoy your meal. :)

Just ate there 6/25. DH, me DSand his friend (both 13). Wonderful atmosphere. It was not crowded at all and we had reservations at 8pm. Had dumplings and some eggroll sampler plate for appetizers. They also have a daily menu with specials in all parts(appet, salads, entree, desserts). Two boys had steak(one had ribeye and other filet mignon), I had hawaiian plate with ribs, chicken, pork potato hash and asian noodles, DH had special fried diver scallops. Everything was great and service is very attentive! DH and I split oreo/white chocolate mousse pie and one of the kids had caramel praline parrfait. There is a childs menu, but both of ours ate off regular menu. Open kitchen is fun and deco is very pretty. Nice meal.

Just a funny note. Payed with disney visa and waiter came back saying we don't take any disney cards! Ha ! it was really funny..the kids were so embarassed until we told them he was kidding.
